    Isn't KJ something like 12 or 13?

There's some borderline Tedi chat going on here.

Ah, maybe explains why a guy would knockback a lassie and then feel the need for assisted navel gazing about it. Probably not one of the cool kids so his pals would take the piss. Bless.

I am the ultimate cool kid. My two main pals that I go out for lunch with are both vls so no they wouldn’t take the piss, they’re both on P&B as well, just choose not to tell their age. One Sevco fan and a St Mirren fan.

You have to apologise and say if the offer is still open, you’d like to take her for a drink.

Or you could shit it and hide behind your computer, gazing at her and crying over your heartbreak for ever.

Right, I’ll go for the first option in that post and do it tomorrow. Nothing to lose.

Sorry. Maybe we should ask Div to make a pure dead serious sub forum.

BTW it wasn't a pisstake it was my serious advice.

1 she made first move and you bottled it

2 chance to rectify it again today and you bottled it

3 you still don't have the nuts or intelligence to say something along lines of " you know what you caught me off guard the other day, came as a bit of a surprise but I would love to go for a drink if you are still up for it"

So my serious non piss take advice is she could do better.

The reason I missed my chance today was because she wasn’t in so I couldn’t do anything about it.

Best thing about today is Archie got the selection spot on for how we had to play ! Stevie lawless, not a defender at all but wow the effort that guy puts in to help the team out of position is unreal !!

Think Lawless is the answer till we get Booth back, but only at left wing back, we need to stick with a back 3.

  5. Spain can’t control Catalonia. Only Catalonia can control what they do, that is just one of the many reasons why they voted for independence. Catalonia voted YES and they’re leaving whether Rajoy likes it or not.

Today showed that Doolan and storey can work as a striking partnership, when they are actually played as such, not storey shoehorned into a wide left role. The only down side is that to do so we really have to play 3-5-2 (thus accommodating Barton as a sweeper) but I'm struggling to see how Spittal can fit in to that system and he hasn't really done anything to deserve being dropped

3-4-1-2 with Cerny, back 3 of Keown, Barton and Devine, McGinn and Turnbull as wing backs, midfield two of Edwards and Bannigan(McCarthy if not fit), Spittal in behind Doolan and Storey.

I'm keeping the faith with Archie. He has done so much for our club. Don't want us to end up like others around us who sack their managers left, right and centre. You could see the players are low on confidence.  But I think some of them need to step up and start being more physical, because we are a soft touch and you cant see us outworking teams at the moment. I think the injuries are costing us and any other team around us with those amount of injuries in key positions would struggle. Although I want archie to stay, he needs to be a bit quicker with his subs and also give Andy McCarthy a chance. Turnbull should go to left back, mcginn at right back with barton in the back three cause he just isn't a centre midfielder. I think the turnover of players over the summer hasn't helped. We almost have too many new players, which is partly down to injuries. We should never have let sean welsh go. I know I will get stick for saying that but he was part of our club for so long and did a lot of the dirty work which lots of people didn't notice.  I think that combined with injuries to guys who have been at the club for a long time has made us loose our identity this season. I think its important for any club to have a core group of players who have been their for a while.  Also I think azzez was more important than people realise. I know he missed sitters and everyone was pulling their hair out, but he gave us a physical presence, which was especially important in away games, because he held the ball up so well and got us up the pitch. He was much more useful than Sammon. But archie needs to stay, regardless of what happens this season and I hope the board don't panic like other clubs.

So are you suggesting we should never sack a manager again no matter the circumstances or how he(or maybe she in the far future) is doing?

Plenty of time left in the season, and players to come back from injury that should help.

BUT, this start to the season feels a bit different to the previous two. Those were shite starts, but there didn't appear to be the same sort of doom and gloom. The players looked lost today. No fight whatsoever, no finger pointing after goals or trying to encourage. Just shrugging and walking back to their positions. And the atmosphere in the stands was a bit different as well.

Right now it feels like a relegation team. In which case you could maybe make a case for a change. But I really don't think it makes a difference, at this point. Archie or someone else in charge, the midfield will still be a shambles.

Give him the winter break then up to the end of February to try and sort things and if we're still in the s**te then it's time for a change. I always thought when Archie left it would be on good terms with him going to an English Championship club but it's not looking that way just now.:(
