You must know how many Cambuslang players  were booked?

You don’t put a ? at the end of a statement!

Let’s give you the benefit of the doubt and say you were trying your hand at a rhetorical question, which means you know the answer,  i’ll respond with: how many would you say were justified?

The amount of cards in a game does not reflect the level of indiscipline.  Most likely infers incompetence on the part of the referee.

  2. I think the Bankies fans comments on here have just provided enough evidence to back up the last part of my previous post, an utter disgrace.

Never seen someone have to come onto a football forum to have to defend themselves against accusations of money laundering.

Before anyone starts accusing the Cambuslang management of behaving the way they do, try attending one of their games and listen to the crap they have to put up with.  I’m all for banter but the shit they put up with is a disgrace.

That would be our physio that reacted to one of our players being dragged off the pitch rather than being allowed treatment?

Utter nonsense.  Absolutely nothing wrong with your player.  He was off the park Cambuslang tried to take a quick throw but the so called injured player rolled back onto the park in order to feign injury and get the play stopped.  Cambuslang right back in frustration reacted the way he did (shouldn’t have and rightly received second yellow) and surprise surprise the so called injured player suddenly bounces to his feet.  The Bankies physio then pushes the Cambuslang right back to the ground and all he gets is spoken too.  If that was the Cambuslang physio it would have been a different outcome.

As Gemms said a section of your support just want to stand behind the Cambuslang dugout and give abuse just like they did in the 3-3 game.

As for the fracas at the tunnel, in what was an already volatile situation your fans made things even worse with utterly stupid comments, goading looking for a reaction which then kicked off with the said west junior FA official doing what he did.  This and nothing else caused the ensuing trouble.  Gemms wasn’t involved in any of this but merely appeared back out the tunnel to see what was going on to be met with a couple of absolute arsehole Bankies fans to his left giving him abuse.

On the whole you have a section of fans that are an utter disgrace as was seen yesterday and at the 3-3 game

A bit of whattabboutery there as if Cambuslang are the only team hard done to. We, along with many other teams have been on the receiving end of some terrible decisions. We complain about it at the time, or for a few hours after but we get over it.

Fair enough to Gemmil it doesn’t look like he done much so a very harsh booking. Still convinced the challenge merited a red card.

And to the QP fan who said medda surrounded the ref before the red card. The video shows more Lang players round him than meadow players.

    “Whattabboutery”

You obviously missed the bit when I stated “only calling it from Lang perspective as they are the team I watch but I’m sure other fans will be just as pissed at things that go on in their games.”

Anyway lets just agree that the standard of referees is shocking across the board and is ruining games.  They are trying to manage the games using cards.

  5. Agree decent comments and being about 20 feet away from this heard absolutely nothing that was said or in an aggressive manner that would remotely warrant a second yellow.  I think people are confusing Gemms telling the ref exactly what he was after he received the second yellow.

Totally agree Meadow players moaned like bitches from the first to last whistle at everything, that apart the ref was just a joke and sadly he wanted it to be all about him.

As for Lang management getting angry, this only happens when refs and officials make ludicrous decisions on the whole they are pretty calm.  Worst by a mile are the Petershill dugout, absolute lunatics.

Eh? I was right there when it happened so I’m not talking pish.

Having now watched the highlights are you now willing to admit you may just have been talking pish.

I think your getting confused with Lang captain telling the ref a bit of honest truth after he was shown the second yellow then red.

Referee performances this season have been so bad it’s hard to believe at times what you are witnessing.

lang seam to be getting a pretty raw deal.

only calling it from Lang perspective as they are the team I watch but I’m sure other fans will be just as pissed at things that go on in their games.

lang Captain will remember one that completely change the game V Clydebank this season.

10 minutes in Gemms gets assaulted and elbowed shocking challenge, nothing but a foul given, didn’t even speak to guilty party.

second half Lang cruising at 3-1 midfielder challenges in air makes contact with Clydebank player purely accidental, straight red.  Game changer

the ref yesterday was so bad it’s hard to believe there’s referee supervisors watching these guys and think everything’s ok

Oh aye, those first four year or so in the 19th century were so difficult, very humble compared to other clubs... Celtic are a perfect example of a corporate club with no identity left that matters. Some fans hold onto the Irish/ Catholic/ Bigoted routes that are a mirror image of their blue brothers, nothing but pointless in the modern day. For the most part though they are completely business orientated and faceless. Don't even have the local community/ city affiliation other clubs have with fans turning their backs on local clubs, jumping on supporters buses from far and wide.

Couldn't think of anything worse in football terms than sitting in a crowd of 50/60k strangers from Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Hamilton etc knowing that these glory hunters are paying for my clubs trophies against teams with players on 1/20th the wages. Not saying it's just Celtic but them and Rangers are probably the two worst examples in World football of fans turning their backs on local teams. I'm also not saying every single St Mirren fan is from Paisley but at the level it happens with Rangers and Celtic, it just makes the teams so hollow IMO.

Glory is gone, there is no glory in winning a league with close to treble the budget of your nearest rival. But as long as you enjoy beating teams like Hamilton and Ross County and lifting  several trophies a year, more power to you. Lets run over the small community clubs in Level 2, take away their competition to try and generate even more £££ for the ugly sisters.

Is there possibly a small part of you jealous that these teams have competition when your team does not?

Outstanding response please take a bow
