  1. I'm not the one bitching

    I didn't private mail you

I didnt put laughing faces. It was shocked and embarrassment at chopper calling people corrupt

I most certainly wont be at onthank v Largs game. Likely craigie or if I csn be bothered driving I may go see how Francis daughter gets on up in cumnock. Another very decent ref

    [emoji23][emoji23] nae bother Francis

  2. Totally agree with the post about respect being a 2way street. Francis never shows any of our boys respect so again I’ll stand by what I said. We have had no issues whatsoever with any other referees. I agree they guys have a thankless task at times and are Probz doing it for the love of the game. What I will ask though is, if there is constant controversy surrounding him why does he continue to get away with it ?

Also I have nothing to do with Onthank committee
  3. Even IF he did say he hates them, no wonder. Members of onthank committee coming on here and slating him like that is unbelievable. Can only imagine how much worse it would have been in the heat of the moment on game day. Also calling the association corrupt. [emoji85]🤦‍♂️[emoji85]🤦‍♂️[emoji85]🤦‍♂️ oaft. Only one winner here

  4. Obviously you are apart of Beith hopefully ure not the grass that is currently sitting in hampden with a certain Frances Andrews (cheating c**t)

What I will say on this.... irrespective of the result which beith won fair and square. Francis has basically said he’s never felt so threatened for his safety and considering quitting through this game. On the field there was some poor discipline from onthank agreed. After the game he says he never felt threatened and this is what happened, the beith manager tried to walk alongside Franny away from the onthank lads and he started going that way with beith gaffer and then turned and chose to walk alongside onthank boys back through the housing scheme back to the changing rooms at the junior ground. Is this the actions of a man who is severely threatened ? A disciplinary hearing before to another matter the accused wasn’t allowed to put his side across. Tonight the onthank manager has been shit out the meeting and not allowed to express his side. To me that tells me two things... they are either corrupt or covering Francis Andrews arse
  5. Must admit I’m surprised at that score line when game got abandoned. Not seen much of Largs and they may very be a good side but Heathside against Onthank last week didn’t look like a side who should be at the bottom end tried to play football ....as for the onthank game today. Game was stuffy and on a park that cut up pretty bad it wasn’t a game for the eye. In all honesty Onthank keeper had ZERO saves to make apart from the odd cross. Onthank missed atleast 3 great chances and in the end it was an OG that won it for beith. Francis Andrews needs to re-sit his exam, the way he conducts himself to players is shocking. I’m all for respect to refs etc but he’s one once he gets the shirt on does what he wants and speaks to people how he likes with no reaction as the association back his every word. I appreciate refs job is hard and they ain’t all bad in fact some are very approachable and enjoy banter but refs like Francis are ruining our game and he gets away with it unchallenged.

  6. It was just a poor display and discipline let us down. Won’t get into too much details on here as it’s not the place to vent internal stuff but it wasn’t an Onthank performance yesterday but as I said Dalry were more than deserved winners before we even had 2 men sent off so all the best to them. We will go again next week and try to do better than this week that’s for sure

  7. The problem lies in the I'll discipline of the players the buck stops with them no one else

That’s true. Managers etc can only talk to players, when they go on the park it’s down to the individual. Some refs don’t help with the way the speak down to some players. Some refs are first class though and can have banter with players so it’s a 2 way street or it should be this way anyway but unfortunately it doesn’t happen too often and refs sometimes bring on the abuse themselves . Thankless task at times being a ref but I can see argument for both sides. Doesn’t mean players can behave the way they like though
  8. Not sure that’s down to him he was in at different times don’t know what they sayed to him

Do they not give u minutes from the meeting to look over what was said ? Skoda’s previous may well have made them make an example of him. Shame he won’t kick another ball this season as the wee man has turned a corner and enjoying his life again so hopefully he’s back doing what he does best soon enough
  9. IMO whether they don’t speak or not referees should not be allocated games with his son and nephew in the side. If they reports are similar then that ban is a joke for Wee Skoda and should be similar for both. Fair play Keiran for your honesty on the situation, if only the referee had been more honest lol. Francis Andrews is probz one the associations most highly rated refs with his senior background so they will always back him to the hilt. Hopefully Skoda can do something to get ban reduced but tbh I think it would be a wasted effort

  10. YUP. Grim reaper thought that people wanted them to fail, I personally don't, but it's shit like this that starts to put targets on your back.

The guy was just saying that based on the information given to him, by me, that he was acting like a p***k and deserves what's coming to him.

Skoda is a good guy at heart and a very decent player but I'm sorry, he was acting like a p***k when he recieved 2 red cards in a minute.

Will be dealt with soon let's move on and not offer folk down to games for confrontations.

As I said all the best to Onthank, great to see the revival and hopefully Skoda doesn't miss too much football.

As I said earlier all joking aside hopefully they show some leniency and as u rightly said the incident will be dealt with and deservedly so. Hopefully he’s back playing soon enough and staying out of trouble. From what I’m aware he’s not even picked up a booking since he’s been with Onthank so hopefully he will learn the lesson for the future.
  11. You know skoda personally then for you to call him a wee p***k from behind a keyboard fuckin grow up boy knows he was in wrong and regrets it boy has turned a corner and Thers idiots like you comment on a website I bet u would never call him a p***k to his face fuckin blouse

Probz the same folk who were celebrating when he was banging them in for Craigie!!!! Wouldn’t have been a wee p***k then. Wee Skoda was loved at craigie also so whoever calling him a wee p***k genuinely don’t know him.
  12. Never been called daft before so I don't think so tbh, when people said that they were whipping boys tho. Same say people might now say that about darvel, doesn't mean they would be disappointed if they recovered the way onthank have. As for a gang as far as I'm aware one club insinuated that when you's beat them, that's common, what if read and heard most people are delighted that Chrissy has turned a corner,

Yeah heard that too about Skoda, thibknthats might be along one, I was at the game and the he does deserve a lengthy suspension but hope they go easy on him

Hopefully they go easy on the wee man. He’s had a tough time and he’s a decent wee lad who seems to be happy again so hopefully they show some leniency and the ban isn’t Aslong as expected so the wee man can keep enjoying his footy and scoring goals like he has been. Onthank will be a better squad and side with Skoda in it
  13. In a week where studies have shown that amateur football has huge benefits to young men suffering from mental health issues I think this is a great topic to ensure we build the game back up.
I have always been a huge advocate of a full restructure of the amateur game but unfortunately their is too many big wigs within leagues and the SAFA who would not support this idea.
As I have mentioned above the amateur game has had some great press this week in regards to mental health issues and the government/SFA should be looking at funding our game even more. Make it cheaper for clubs and players to play and more attractive than going shopping or to watch a game on a Saturday. Finance maybe isn't a huge concern to a lot of clubs with great sponsors and fundraisers but it certainly has had a huge effect on player participation. If we can make it cheaper for clubs then hopefully it becomes cheaper for players and more guys will participate.
If we had regionalised divisions and proper promotion and relegation then I think this could work very well. In particular the west of Scotland area where we have five afternoon leagues Ayrshire, SAFL, Caley, CSAFL & GGPL all consistently losing clubs. We have about 3 or 4 saturday morning leagues as well. If we could merge these leagues together(morning & afternoon separately) it would create hopefully better competition and something fresh to the game.  Having morning & afternoon  national cups would also be a forward step in my opinion but I'm sure they'll be some debate around that.
With any restructure there would be fall out and teething problems 100% but for the longevity of the game it is a must.

I agree possibly merging Ayrshire with some league possibly in Glasgow as that’s not too far to travel and some league centrally could also merge. This would give teams fresh competition and I would definitely look forward to that. It will never happen though as was stated earlier all leagues have their own agenda.
  14. Football in Ayrshire is also dying. Since I started playing in the amateur leagues just over 10 years ago you had 4 or 5 leagues all with Atleast 10 teams. Places like Irvine and Ayr all had Atleast 4 teams like Clark Drive,Girdle,Bourtreehill and the teams still going and in Ayr Wallactoun,Ayr Ams etc. It’s sad to see so many teams fold and also lost a few big guns such as Knockentiber,Newmilns. I’ve noticed there doesn’t seem to be as many young boys as interested now as when I started playing not sure why this is happening but it’s definitely something I have noticed.
