If Stevie would only just up and leave we'd have something positive to talk about.

And a real motivator to consider going out and renewing the ST

On the st talk, see if you are buy one do you get what to choose what seat is yours?

But calling folk who don't go to as many games as them part-timers isn't on. Not everyone has flexible jobs like them and the fella calling fans part-timers on facebook. I'm sure the majority of us grew up watching the sons and don't remember her hellish screaming of 'shite' when we were wee.

I don't know how long they've been going how the games, and without trying to turn it into a cock measuring contest, I know I've been going for decades now, like many others, and to be called part timers cause I can't make Arbroath or Alloa on a weeknight is nonsense.

No trying to offend anyone but who still goes to the football with their fucking maw hahahah, the drum is a bit irritating and that’s coming from me but the sound of those tambourines and that squeaking voice is worse (what do the tambourines even do?), I wouldn't be surprised if they were calling fans part timers they think there the cock of the North when it comes to fans but really there fancy dress weirdos :)

The short answer is we don’t have the money to go full time.

And again short answer, the golden dream was move stadium - increase crowds - increase facilities to bring in large revenue - fund full time football.

but there are many if,buts, maybes and hopefully’s  along the second way.

If we’re being honest with a new stadium in an obscure location increase crowds I would think they would reduce them in that thinking and would of cost a lot of money for not a lot of return

Unfortunately not. After yesterday I'm surprised I've managed to avoid it.

The only way it will happen is if the Morton board produce a complete brain fart moment and decide he's a better option than whoever else applied.

Would be a howler of a decision by Morton if they do offer him the job, they bottled it in both play off games which was shocking and that blame must go down to him, if you set out to defend for 90 minutes the possibility of them scoring is high cause the team which was evident yesterday were knackered by the last 10 minutes

He did a good job that season, but he also had a smashing squad and a good sized budget for L1: Cammy Belford, Steven Bell, Liam Dick, Willie Gibson, Paul Cairney, Andy Stirling, Craig Malcolm, Mark McGuigan, Jamie Longworth.

He then added Scott Agnew and Christian Nade (amongst others) and contrived to make them an absolute basketcase.

If Stevie does go then I'd like to see us going down the young rookie route. It doesn't always work, but guys like Ian Murray, Paul Hartley, Jim Goodwin, Jack Ross, Dave Mackay and even Darren Young have all worked out well.

It's all irrelevant though. Unless someone comes in for him, which I really can't see, then Stevie's going nowhere.

if we're looking for rookies could go for Brown Ferguson the steinhousemuir manager done well to bring them straight back up or Stewart Petrie at Montrose who won league 2 this year both under 50

Yeah but one of you threw a drumstick at Alloa players heads.

Guys like Moonster, Snudge & BBPF did what you did a generation before you, get behind the club, making noise, bringing flags, being boisterous, but they never got into fights & they never threw things at players. I’d be surprised if you get in with drums again and you have no right to be hard done by, you took it way way too far (nothing personal against you of course, you’ve been let down badly by your pals)

Imo, you've hit the nail on the head, flags and making noise is all I want to do, it was the minority what spoiled it for the majority

Thing is, unfortunately this is not the 1st time these allegations have been directed at your group of guys. I brought up on here a while back something I had seen on Twitter following a game at st mirren, where someone (named Robbie - and im happy to accept your explanation that you have at the time that it wasnt you) had threatened st mirren fans to a fight. Feel free to trawl through the pages on here to find it. When I brought it to your attention it was promptly deleted from Twitter and the account made private.
I have no doubt that the majority of your 'pals' have good intentions and want to support the club with some atmosphere and noise. If there are some idiots wanting to fight, throw flares onto parks or throw stuff at other players, please advise them to go support someone else.

The St Mirren fan thing was a joke on Twitter hardly the place to make serious threats haha, we are young lads who just want to bring an atmosphere we don't want to fight for two reasons- 1. We would get put on our arses and 2. It's illegal, once again I'll agree it was stupid to throw stuff on the pitch and was a bad decision, in regards to the flare, the guy was not a real dumbarton fan and was told to never come back with us, I understand we make a racket with our drum and some people do not enjoy it fair enough, we aren't there to cause trouble and don't attempt to cause it.

They were trying to get a squad together at the end to go round to the alloa fans. Fucking embarrassing.

Only fans looking for a fight were 3 of our own (full grown men) offering a square go towards two young boys

I'm all for you boys making some noise and it was a very welcome atmosphere today, but you can't start this "players taunted us" stuff. The lads were dishing out abuse to every Alloa player that came within 20 yards of them, you've got to expect it back when they score. We will be fined for failing to control our crowd now due to things being thrown on the pitch. Be loud and supportive but you absolutely cannot be throwing things at players. It's a headache the club does not need right now.

True, all I can do is offer our sincere apologies and we were poorly behaved today as in relation to the two goals, onwards to next season, hopefully the team can pull together and bring the sons back up to where they belong!

Yup. Thought they were good at first, away at St Mirren for example in December. Where did they even come from? Could they name our starting 11? Never seen any of them in my life... hopefully won’t be back after that.

There first game was raith rovers at home in the cup and they tried there best to create an atmosphere but wasn’t enough of them.

  11. Just wondering what you guys are thinking but, IMO with John Steele taking over as chairmen the club seems to be on an up with lower ticket prices and attracting more fans to come in especially the youth of the area and seems to be taking his job very serious which is good to see hopefully this can go to strength to strength

Ok, but there seem to be megaphones involved with the so called "Union Bears" at Ibrox and "Green Brigade" at Sellick Park.

The Malaga guys really added to the match day experience for everyone - there was always something going on. No need for steamers there will be stuff that will be permitted - you just need to use imagination.

I'm sure some of the misty eyed old farts here will like me remember average crowds of more than 4,000 at Boghead and the "choir" numbering about 500. They had several songs specific to the Sons too. Happy days.

That’s what our group would like to do! Ultras mentality is high on the agenda in scottish teenage life hahaha, kidding aside the use of megaphones and massive flags can add massive boosts to the atmosphere think about the klop at Liverpool with their banners and flags looks boss
