Why has the club never sold the naming rights to Fir Park before? I think in this day and age you could get folk on board with that for the financial side and people would just call it Fir Park anyway?

The two main reasons in my opinion that the Welcome to Wrexham stuff has worked is that a) They have 2 Hollywood a-listers owning the club (b) They're having millions and millions of pounds pumped in and are fighting for league titles/promotion. We wouldn't have either of them, realistically who's going to go out their way to watch a documentary on a team that's aim is to be 5th or 6th out of 12?

Nah, you’re spot on mate, think the Americans are fascinated with the pyramid because they don’t have that as well, then promotion is tangible for Wrexham.
We’ve got a much heavier ceiling and getting from say 9th to 4th in a 12 team league isn’t that much of a fairytale and harder to sell. Just would be more difficult to make that exciting, I personally haven’t been overly excited with a season since the cup finals under Robbo so would be difficult to sell that to an outsider.
In the Wrexham doc I like the stuff about the players and their families I’m sure we could do that well too and plenty of personalities in the crowd so that could be at least some content. Just in terms of our small league with the limitations and monopoly at the top it’s harder to sell a dream with that tbh.

Hence the second paragraph about dialogue? I’m not saying I’m decided yet either just that it’s rare to get this kind of conversation between fans and investor in a forum like this tbh.
If I had a question it would be with investment what would fans see done differently to improve the club? @Erik Barmack

It’s pretty cool Erik is talking to us man. The financials are above me but as a person I get good vibes from Erik Barmack.
I contribute to the Well Society and am currently on the fence and see pros and cons on both sides but very refreshing to see some dialogue here with some tough questions being asked.

Giving the Dundee score at the end I was hoping we could draw to be the custodians of patter with hibs Hibsing it.

Wrexham currently sits third in League Two, three below the Premier League, and Motherwell fans will be hoping Barmack can lead their club to similar new glories.
Hopefully we, too, can get promoted to English League 2 with a view of getting to the Premier League.

The production company trying to get a word in when speaking to Kettlewell for the upcoming documentary, Welcome to Motherwell, will be a mammoth task.

He raises a good point regarding Dundee’s pitch and legislation. I’d like to see rules implemented for grass pitches in the league and proper upkeep, investment etc. which would be a benefit for the fan experience as well with less call offs and uncertainty.
The suggestion for a closed door game at Airdrie stadium shows a real contempt for the supporter glad he’s stood up against that. I reckon he’ll be good in the long run seems a sensible character.
