I was only raising an issue of poor refereeing whereby cheating was rewarded.

Again I respect and understand that you did not see the incident and that my coastal chum is fine.  No need to allow the debate to fall below the standard that it deserves to be at.  I trust you will reflect and grow.  Good luck in that journey.

I hope you enjoy the remainder of your weekend.  I wish you and your team all the best for the remainder of the season.  Kieran Brady is a cracking player and I hope he brings you the joy that he did to all of us who followed the Burgh over the past few seasons.

Good luck and if/when we chat again I hope that the conversation is of a somewhat higher standard.

    Thanks Tom

Perhaps next time comb over man referee's a Largs game you will not benefit from his poor decision making but then again perhaps you will!

Tedious Tom sums you up lol

You sound bitter. All that money and could not beat a team with one of the lowest budgets in the league. I see you're keeper got motm, I suppose he kept you in the game.

I saw a tug on his right arm, the pull on the jersey was not cheating enough so he pulled on Jordan's right forearm/wrist.   You may disagree and that is fine but I saw one and thus I can confirm to all and sundry that it did indeed happen.  Whilst I require glasses, they are only for reading and so my eyesight at such a distance is reliable, I was not under the influence of alcohol, my view was not obstructed and my recollection is clear.  It happened, if you did not see it then you missed it, I did not.

Due to said fouls Jordan was unable get a a clean strike at the ball so the foul (or penalty) should have been given.  What you have described would constitute a nonsense as that would give a clear incentive to teams to commit a foul and that of course would be an extremely stupid thing for the rules to allow.   A foul (or penalty) had to follow the booking as Jordans pretty pish attempt at goal was hampered by the cheating of the Largs defender.  It is reasonable to assert that Jordans attempt at goal may (I cannot be sure) have been less pish had the Largs player respected the rules of the game and not brought shame on Largs, the sport of football and human kind as a whole.

There are plenty of pictures of before and after so why not of the second pull? I also had a clear view and had my glasses on. If the ref is going to give a foul it would be for the foul outside the box as it was the first and only offence.

Yes this pull is outside the box, but the same player then goes on to have a tug on Jordans right arm which I believe was in the box.  The ball ends up out for a corner and the Largs players gets booked.   But the foul (or penalty, the principle is the same) was not given...how could that possibly be?

That's the only foul, outside the box, there was no tug or pull in the box after it. The ref plays advantage as the number 9 is heading for goal, the largs player gets back and blocks the shot for a corner. The ref then books the player for the foul outside the box

Agree completely.  I don't like that referee, unaware of his name but it's the guy with the comb over hair do.   Was constantly trying to be the centre of attention  and succeed far too often.  The first booking of Aaron Mason was a strange one, could not for the life of me see what it was for.  The booking of the Largs player for pulling back Jordan Moore also left me puzzled.  The Largs player fouls the Burgh striker (in the box) by pulling him back, the  referee books him but gives no foul (penalty) and the Burgh get a corner?

Anyway, to say something positive,  Kieran Brady had an excellent game at the back for Largs today.

Now to say something negative...I think I have a bit of sun burn!

There are pictures from the Johnstone burgh media team showing the pull was outside the box

That was a proper hard watch yesterday. Largs looked hungrier and sharper for the full 90 minutes and you would have thought the league placings were the reverse. We’ll lose a lot more than we win for the rest of the season if performances don’t pick up.

Not a lot of pace in the Clydebank team

Cash been thrown around here.  A club that forgets airdrie have the history of the old Clydebank, no ground of their own no real history.  Plastic club of never has beens.  Couldn’t care less  they go up.

And they tell you they have one of the smallest budgets in the league .

Lol we’ve recalled a boy from loan resigned a fantastic striker who left for oz and returned and signed a defender. Aye we’ll be announcing Messi next week. Last years league winners were paying guys £5/600 a week and we’ve probably got one of the smallest wage bills in the league. Moff is a fantastic man manager.

"we’ve probably got one of the smallest wage bills in the league"

Away and don't talk a lot of shite!

    2. No fighting in the ground at all.

    3. The locals attacked a female supporter which started the fight outside.

    4. The local possil boys had turned up with weapons which is not hard to believe.

now…what are you to do in this situation? Run? Nah you defend yourself always.

and so what if its possilpark? Means nothing to anyone who doesn’t live there, granted it might be a rough area but big deal 😂 just because they are from glasgow does not mean they are to be feared.

3 times in glasgow…st rochs, rutherglen, possilpark they have come to blows with home fans being aggressive yet the club continues to fail to offer any protection for its supporters in these areas, so the outcome is violence inevitably.

and , after banning they young lads kilbirnie will suffer even more, was not long ago they raised around £5000 for the club but are thrown under the bus for defending themselves in a hostile area.

they will still watch from outside on the hill where the club has no control, not even the police can move them if they aren’t doing anything.

Thinly veiled threats of closing the gates for good are just that…threats, the committee do not own kilbirnie ladeside therefore they have no power to shut the club down!

Why has no AGM been had for 8 years? Because gordon ronney and the committee know if they hold one …they are goners.

The statement is about the committees reputation not that of the fans or the club, as they say dont bite the hand that feeds you..and in this case kilbirnie will lose not only the supporters banned but others who are disillusioned by the committee and its finger pointing at every turn to blame it’s own fans wether in the right or wrong.

    cowards!

Who was it that was throwing bottles onto the pitch 6 weeks ago down at Kilbirnie?
