Next up it's a Friday night home game against Annan. As both set of supports know Accies have not had a good record against Annan in the past couple of years. I do think this will be the game we end that horrible record though. So far our home games have been 2 1-0s and 1 2-1 it would be nice if we could kill Annan off on Friday. It must surely be time for O'Hara to be dropped another poor performance against QOTS Mumbongo or Mcglynn or even both of them should start this instead of O'Hara. I watched Annans playoff final games last season as both of them were on Alba and the standout players were Tommy Goss and Max Kilsby. Overall I think we will have enough to win this and go back to the top of the league for at least a couple of hours Accies 2-0 Annan

    Unbeaten in the league btw.

We've been linked with Owen Moffat now on loan from Blackpool guy looked an excellent prospect at Celtic even playing in a couple of games for the first team. Would be an excellent signing if we got him and Connor in then this team is complete would expect to see 2 or 3 moving on though.

    Interesting.

Does this close the door for Connor Smith or could we accommodate for them both?

Optimistic, but I'd like to see them both sign, a bigger squad with options and competition can only be a good thing.

My point is we have the best squad in the league. We can't be holding out in games we need to be finishing teams off and we did that against Cove in the cup and it failed. Even Brechin we didn't look like getting a second goal to kill the game off which turned out to get us knocked out of the cup as we missed out by 1 goal. We also have a good amount of depth so Rankin needs to be making changes quicker even yesterday he should of made changes earlier Hopefully in the coming weeks we start finishing teams off. Good 3 points yesterday which I was reasonably happy with against a team we didn't beat last season which shows some progress is being made which is good to see. This is the best chance we will get of getting out of this league if we fail this year it will be harder next season so it's very important we get out of it this year. We can't do a Falkirk and have 5+ years in this division.

George is best ignored Ian, looking at his previous posts since joining P&B gives you an idea of his affiliation.

Big 3 points on Saturday, first time ever beating Cove. I hope we can build on it with a positive result at Kelty.

They've been at it since the social media faux pas at the turn of the year.

There are, clearly, some very dodgy characters involved with our club, who are prepared to bully and threaten anyone who does anything that could shed even the slightest bit of light on them.

As you can view Acciesworld as a guest, the thread in question can be found here:

Can't believe what I read there. This club is full of crooks.

He accused fans of shouting vile abuse about his family. Did not happen. It was 1 disgraceful tweet about 4 days earlier and hopefully whoever posted it will be suitably dealt with.

    This.

A horrible comment that was widely condemned by everyone.

Rankin said he heard it at the game, he didn't, it was online. He was just made aware of it.

I think by the end of this season the fans will have a much more positive opinion on John Rankin than what they do right now. Some things last season he should of done better but we all know who was the main man that caused that season last year

I'm not convinced, he has burnt bridges with a lot of supporters I know.

Not entirely for the football season just past, but for his lie after the Alloa game which I won't go into here.

    We will see what happens.

  7. Really impressed with the transfer business so far.

The social media presence seems to be heading in a positive direction again, with talk of season cards instead of books and a full kit launch with the supporters soon.

Downside is John Rankin and Daz McKinnon are still the management team, I hope they can get the best out of these players.

Also still waiting on official confirmation of McGowan selling his shares, hopefully that arrives soon.

    Other than that, Happy Days!
