It usually comes through separately ten minutes or so after purchasing..

Bizarrely they have made the process worse this season, as last year you could download your ticket from the confirmation page.

Thanks for the info, will chase the club up again in the morning

Have to thank Ayr, emailed last night explaining the issue and have just received my ticket. Now bring on tomorrow  and a QP win.

  3. Bought a ticket for the West stand and received an email advising the transaction has taken place but I have not received an email with the ticket attached. Does anyone know if the ticket is sent attached to a later email. I did email Ayr earlier this afternoon but have not received an answer yet.

The booking site has 5 seats between each person and at least a couple of rows in either direction. The vast majority are content with that although I noticed a small group at the back yesterday with a bit more so if you’re booking between middle and front you’ll be fine. My son and I chose to sit just one seat apart (we share a car to the game) and no-one has challenged that. Bear in mind Thistle are operating a bubble system so it won’t be strange for stewards to see small groups, especially pairs, close to each other. Likewise we remove our masks when seated. Everyone wears their masks when moving around.

The toilet blocks are managed to ensure a one-way system. Some urinals and basins restricted from use. No food stalls and bags not encouraged, to remove unecessary contact with bag searches, but there is a water marshall providing free individual paper cups. There’s also a friendly face from the stewards at Hampden at the ticket gate, which is also well marshalled and controlled. The stewards are provided by G4S but so far have had a different attitude, very welcoming and polite. Seems a real recognition we are all in this horrid thing together.

I've been at both games at firhill, one on my own and one with others in my household. From what i've seen stewards have not had any issue with folks sitting beside each other. I have however seen them asking people to put their masks back on while they are seated.
There is a sign outside the gents toilet nearest where I was sitting that said a max of 9 people at a time could go in. Any time I went in (admittedly not at half time when I'd expect it to be busiest) I was the only one in there and there was no steward at the door controlling the numbers. One steward I was chatting to as I entered the stadium yesterday did mention the limit of 9 people, so it may be that they will try to enforce this at busier times.
It's worth bearing in mind that the restrictions are changing as if tomorrow, and so that may possibly mean that more people will be allowed in the stadium and that the rules are either relaxed or enforced more strictly (or both!?)
Not sure if that helps any?

Thanks very much for the replies. Sounds like we are good to go.

  5. I am hoping to renew season tickets for both me and my dad but had a few questions regarding the club's covid rules at the ground.

I noticed on the QP twitter there was a photograph of people sitting beside each other. Can I assume the stewards would have no issue if I sat next to my dad.

Also people in the photograph were not wearing masks, are the stewards therefore happy for masks to be removed when sitting in you seat. This would useful as we both need glasses.

Lastly, if you needed the toilet can you go straight in or are there stewards controlling the number of people entering.

Has anyone else who is a member or season ticket holder not got their letter about accessing the streamed games?

I had not received any information about season tickets I had ordered, so I emailed the secretary. I received an email back advising the season tickets would be on their way and I would shortly receive an email with codes and info about streaming.

  7. Yesterday was the first time it really hit me that we are entering a new era with so many of the new players starting.

To use the cliche it pretty much was a game of two halves. I was very impressed with how we started, the team felt stronger and faster and I was happy that we were playing further up the pitch.

Great to see Jamieson back and I think he and Grant will make an excellent partnership at this level (and even at league 1 level too). Was impressed with Doig too, especially going forward and sending in a few great crosses. With his height and stength, he hopefully will be harder to beat than Summers (wish him all the best for his future in Holland). I still feel we need a right back but believe Finnie is better than Mortimer in that role.

Thought Davidson and Morrison were very strong and liked how they closed the opposition down and did not give them time or space with the ball. Feel that this was a reason that Cowdenbeath never really caused us any problems in the first half. Slater is class , took his goal really well, no doubt he was going to score. Hope he recovers really quickly as he is exactly what we need, a player comfortable on the ball with good vision and can spray the ball about. Remember also how hard he worked and that is how he got injured, chasing back to make a tackle.

MacLean again put in a few great crosses and with genuine speed will always cause the opposition defences trouble. Galt worked his socks off which was great to see, especially him closing down the Cowdenbeath keeper in the last few minutes of the game. Feel Salim did not have his best game, and definitely should have scored with the close in chance in the second half.

In the second half Cowdenbeath improved and I believe we missed Slater although Purdue did well. Felt as the game went on Morrison and Davidson got tired and this with Codenbeath pushing forward they caused us some problems.

Which leads to my MoM Willie Muir who made two brilliant saves in the second half, especially the one at the end when he had to get across his line to make the save. He should be signed up for next year now. With the extra height in the team, I would just advise him to stay on his line rather than feeling the need to come out for crosses. Let the defence deal with it.

Also things will improve as the players continue to get used to each other.

Finally (if you are still reading) glad to hear Lidouren was injured as I heard he had moved on. Glad to hear my information was incorrect.

  8. As already said the first half was an embarrassment, the second half was an improvement however there is obviously much room for improvement and I'm sure McKinnon has an even better idea of what is required. Believe that Ross MacLean could definitely help as he has genuine pace and appears to be happy to get to the byline and cross the ball which should cause opposition defences an issue. On a sadder note will be surprised if Mortimer or Foy start a game for the first team again. Good servants for the club but limited (in Foy's case definitely not helped by injuries) and now turning semi pro I imagine the club will be much more hard headed and both will be released at the end of the season.
