To me it points too Ambitious Tayside league clubs can join at Tier 6 which will either be under the Highland League or enter EOS league if the boundary is moved.No Tayside league....West and East regions into Tier 6 as of season 2019-20...you will have to ask the EoS guy who produced the minutes why he introduced Tayside ? There is no Tayside association in discussion with the PWG only the SJFA.

Burnieman is not correct. There is and will not be a Tayside league. There is no reference to a Tayside league in the communication sent out by Ian Maxwell. The Tayside thing is done to the EoS nothing else. Two usernames by the way...whoever you are

Just to help clarify matters the minutes from the EoS recent board meeting.

SFA membership
SFA Chief Executive Ian Maxwell has informed the League that the embargo on accepting new membership applications has been lifted. Any club that wishes to apply can now do so but should be aware the Club Licensing department contains only two members of staff whose role also covers the existing 90 SFA member clubs. It would therefore help the process if clubs state on their application if they think they already meet the licensing criteria. This would allow applications to be prioritised.
Potential champion clubs should note the SLFL requires clubs to be in possession of an SFA License by 31 March for them to be eligible to take part in any play-off match for entry into the SLFL the following season. As all applications must first be approved by the SFA Board and then by the SFA’s Club Licensing committee it is essential they are submitted as soon as possible to increase the chance of meeting this 31 March deadline.
All clubs should note the SFA Board is continuing to look at membership criteria and benefits and there may be changes suggested at next year’s SFA AGM – for example the format of the preliminary/early rounds of the Scottish Cup and associated distribution model, and introduction of floodlights at entry level are being considered. Some of these changes would be subject to approval by existing members at the SFA AGM and further information will be made available in due course.
Pyramid Working Group
The Board noted the Pyramid Working Group had met on 21 September 2018 and had agreed to the formation of additional tier 6 Leagues in the West and Tayside areas. The Board also noted differing views that had emerged from the PWG and that several EoSFL member clubs had made strong representation against the direct admission of the existing East Junior set-up at tier 6. The Board has therefore agreed to support the formation of separate Leagues in those areas and to emphasise the EoSFL is the recognised tier 6 League covering the Lothians, Borders, Stirlingshire and Fife. The PWG will next meet on 14 November 2018.
Dual registration of SYFA players
The EoSFL continues to seek agreement with the SYFA to allow players to represent their club in both EoSFL and SYFA fixtures and an update will be provided when there is further information.
One consequence of the League’s trialist rule is that it allows a club to field age-level players with SYFA clubs in an unlimited number of League or Qualifying League matches, provided written permission is obtained from their club.
Defibrillators
The League has received a final quote for a bulk purchase of defibrillators. The Scottish Football Partnership has agreed to pay 50% of the cost, with the League contributing another 25%. That leaves a balance of £240 which will need to be paid by each club who received a defibrillator. Kenny McLean will shortly e-mail clubs to get formal commitments to purchase and then place an order.
Investment in long term development of the game in the East of Scotland
Four clubs have now been granted money from the fund set aside by the League for ground improvements that help them gain or maintain an SFA club license. Any club wishing to apply should send a fully-costed, evidenced written application to alistair@wilkielaw.co.uk. Each application will be considered on its merits by a sub-committee and the Board’s decision on whether to make an award for any particular project will be final and binding. Payments will not be made for work already completed. No club may receive more than one payment from the fund. All awards made will be conditional on the club remaining within the EoSFL or being promoted to the SLFL, failing which any money paid will need to be repaid fully on demand.
Pitch inspections
Clubs are reminded to familiarise themselves with League rule 9. A qualified referee is expected to make this decision although if both clubs (and the League) agree a decision can be made by the home club. If a pitch is unplayable the home club must inform their opponents, the referee and the League Secretary not later than 10am on the day of the match, or by 2pm for an evening fixture. A club may only declare a pitch unplayable the day before the fixture date in the event of extreme weather conditions or on the grounds of the health and safety of the players, officials or spectators of both Clubs. The League Secretary, if requested by either the visiting Club or the Board, may appoint a referee to carry out a pitch inspection. The standard fee for a pitch inspection will be £10 plus expenses on the Referees’ tariff and will be divided equally between the two clubs.
Date of next meetings
The next Board meeting will be on Thursday 22 November 2018 and the next General meeting will be in February 2019 at a venue to be confirmed.
Reminders
1. Defibrillators must be in situ for all matches and ready for use should they be required.
2. Correspondence must be answered within requested timescales in accordance with League Rule 4. Failure to do so will result in a warning for a first offence followed by a statutory fine.
3. Goalscorer returns must be submitted to goals@eosfl.com within seven days of the end of each month using the form that has been provided by the League. This is required even when a club has scored no goals during the month.
4. The SFA’s football administration system must be kept up-to-date on a regular basis as necessary. Failure of clubs to do so will result in a deduction from the funds received by the League from the SFA.
5. Simon Kinghorn is the Child Protection Officer for both the East of Scotland Football League and East of Scotland Football Association. Should anyone have an issue they wish him to consider he can be contacted on 0781 754 5983.

I have two ID's Locheeboy and Juniorsforme...............nothing to hide.......I'm no keyboard warrior. The Juniors come in at Tier 6 for season 2019-20 from that point they are a route to the Pryamid. You have the minutes ....publish them or at least the paragraph that the EoS accepts the decison.

Discussions are ongoing with the HL regarding the future of the Pyramid up there, and unless the boundary changes then Tayside clubs are in HL territory, Caps lock doesn't change that, and it makes perfect sense.
Dundee and Tayside should not be included in a LL feeder. It makes a mockery of the regionalisation between HL/LL. There's also a case for Perthshire to be included in the HL area as well, but as it stands they are LL.
Burnie, nothing has changed the Juniors are in at Tier 6 and despite the EoS association claiming in their recent board minutes that the EoS is the recognised route for clubs in the Lothians, Borders, Stirlingshire and Fife ......so to is the ERJFA a recognised route for those area's to the LL.
Time will tell and when it does hopefully your bitterness towards the Juniors and TJ will cease.

Because you fall into HL territory, not everyone can play in the LL, that would be ridiculous. You even have a cup (or had?) between Tayside and North Region clubs. You might not like it, but it makes absolute sense.
Makes sense to you but not to the clubs in Tayside. The gateway to the Highlands is Perth why then is Jeanfield Swifts not included ? Burnie, my club has clocked more miles than any of the Lothian clubs over the years. Travel and distance is not a problem to Lochee United but to the majority of clubs in Tayside it is. The HL covers a huge area from Wick to Aberdeen and I know the North and HL CLUBS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN TAYSIDE CLUBS JOINING THEM.
Very difficult to carve up the country but Glasgow-Edinburgh-Dundee with clubs in the small towns and villages within those area's should be the feeders for the LL

If Blackburn make it to the SPFL and are sent to Elgin to play either midweek or Saturday it is acceptable. Why then is it not acceptable for a Tayside club to play in the LL at say Gretna ?

I propose we disband all associations including the SFA and SPFL and allow Burnieman free reign to sort out Scottish football. He thinks he has all the answers so maybe Mr McGinty deserves an opportunity.

Burnieman, you have had an agenda with TJ and the SJFA since day one. It's over now, only time will tell how successful the move will be to the clubs. You wanted a fixture list...you got it. Advice and assistance ...the promise is there. Good luck to you and all the others.

There has been no fake news from TJ, SJFA or the ERFA. The SFA could have and should have resolved this a long time ago. With Regan stepping down and a temporary man put in charge who was also departing the SFA ....TJ had nothing concrete to put out. Now Ian Maxwell is in place and a Pryamid Group Meeting being held shortly followed by an SFA board meeting two days later I think we will all know exactly where we stand. This whole affair has not been good for football at our level and I include EoSL in this as well.

In fairness to the delegates they are only one voice and one vote at their respective clubs. Decisions have been made based on a number of points. I think the clubs who left the ERJFA after the first batch of clubs, did so because of a number issues including more travel to Tayside . Once that happened the others had very little choice but to follow on. What I do agree with is the fact our delegates to the SJFA have been seen to have done very little to prevent the break up or the ERJFA. Another point I would also raise is our SJFA Vice President should step down as his club ( Clydebank ) have attended meetings of the EoSL and admitted they are only staying put because of their ground not being ready otherwise they would be gone. He should do step down either before the AGM or at the meeting. This is not personal but we really need people with the Junior game at heart leading us.

Losing to the best team in the league is no disgrace whatever the score. In fact I would say without a shadow of a doubt Bonnyrigg are the best side we have played this season and that includes Auchinleck Talbot. Lets wait and see how well the EoS sides do next season against Bonnyrigg.

Personally I think the direction should be towards a league at tier 6 to reflect the SFA East Region which covers Angus, Dundee, Perth & Kinross and Fife.
So Lochee, Tayport and Carnoustie could be up there challenging for titles every season and without the threat of relegation hanging over them, without unneccesary travel costs and with a chance of promotion to the LL (if they can sort out this 'north of Tay' line) and if the clubs can work towards a licence. What's the point in those clubs being in the same league as Newtongrange, Penicuik, Dunbar, Arniston at this level? I'm not sure it adds anything to Linlithgow or Bo'ness either.
So I think the ERJFA should abolish the superleague and split the regions up geographically now to prepare for the future integration.
You are making assumptions that Linlithgow and Bo'ness will move on. Since the inception off the ERJFA no club has domintated year after year. This has kept it interesting and competitive the clubs who were up there like Bathgate, Whitburn maybe not doing as well just now but who is to say they won't come back and have another succesfull period.
To end, I would say the Juniors have a good product but we do have area's that can be improved upon.

They have always paid to broadcast the final. Their money has always been included in the accounts at the SJFA agm.
