No no he insisted in his words "was the only one who called it right with Robson being dropped" I just dont think anyone told Tommy or even Ray or it might have been his own wee Edibairn world
Robson won't be playing once Ray gets a new centre half in.

What have you actually got right??
I was the only person on here right about Mackinnon bringing in 11 players.

Interesting stat is that a certain discredited poster assured us Kidd would be the rightback at the end of January.
Well, we've played our last game in January - and he isn't. McGhee currently holds that position.
Nor has Robson been displaced at leftback, which we were also assured would happen.
It's a real shame he's no longer posting. I'd have loved to have heard him explain why he got the predictions so wrong.
I haven't got anything wrong. Mackinnon himself said on Saturday that Dixon would be 'moving out one' once he's signed a centre back- i.e. Robson will be dropped. Yes, Kidd didn't play on Saturday, but I suspect that was purely due to rotation as he's played so many games recently.

The reason players who are bang average at best like Nelson and Robson are treated like Messi by our fans is because we've been conditioned to accept mediocrity with 10 years in this division. The sad fact is that a lot of our fans haven't seen us play in the premier league so they see these guys as the best we're going to get. Add that to the fact that most football fans wouldn't know a football if it hit them in the head and you can see why it happens.

I revealed a few weeks ago that he'd be leaving the club this month so it seems likely he could be on his way to you.
He can't defend in the slightest- constantly targeted by the opposition because he simply can't tackle or mark. He is alright going forward but certainly not good enough to make up for his poor defending.
Nowhere near good enough for the premiership in summary. I'd be absolutely delighted to see him go.

Nathan Oduwa would be an absolutely phenomenal signing and a real statement of intent by Ray and the Board of Directors.

Sounds to me like Ray has better options in mind and Irving is only a back up if he doesn't get them. Seems sensible as we need to have squad numbers as well as quality.

We already have 1. Rudden will get that many. We also have Lavery and we have wider players who can satisfy the 4 3 3.
I wanted an experienced striker but atm I would say RB and GK are the ones that sort the balanceIf Rudden gets injured, we're going to be fucked. We need more attacking players in before we even start thinking about right backs. Which Ray knows.

Schoolboy error there. Tbh, that’s probably the third or fourth trip up with that alias. Probably best to retire it gracefully.
I don't have any aliases. The simple fact is that other posters share my views.

Despite your constant slating of Robson and your having a go at someone else slating players and being negative.
The difference is that I'm happy to look at and review players honestly, not based on a negative agenda

It's been patently evident for 3 or 4 years Sibbald wasn't good enough to move on. He has no pace, or change of pace for that matter. Well seeing he was one of the few products of the Academy not to be moved on for cash
Genuine question- have you ever made a positive comment about any of our players on this forum? I'm really not sure what you get out of permanently seeking the negatives in everything to do with the club.
If you genuinely thought Craig Sibbald wasn't good enough to improve us, I'd have serious doubts about your football knowledge. Of course you don't genuinely think that, however, and are just trolling and/or trying to further your bizarre, negative agenda.

We're looking at him, Alston and BSLM .......according to Edi
Not looking at Alston. Sibbald and Miller, yes. But not certain to happen.

Andrew Nelson. Any good? Apparently we are after him.
Bang average at best. Can't see him being good enough for the premiership.

It can’t be objectively true. That’s an impossible claim to justify.
It can. If you look at objective facts like number of interceptions made, crosses blocked, possession loss, Kidd will come out well on top of Robson.

He thinks that Kidd's fine for this level of football so therefore feels that he's a better defender than Robson
This is just objectively true, surely. Robson is consistently targeted by opposition teams because he's defensively poor. Kidd is limited going forward but he doesn't make many defensive mistakes.

I'll be absolutely astonished if McGhee ends up on the bench. Robson will be the one making way IMO.

I don't think we've lost a single goal all season, where it hasn't come from a defensive lapse. Bin all of them, cause by your standards they're all gash.
They are gash which is why Muirhead, Harrison and Brough have already been dropped and replaced with better quality. Robson should be no different.

I really don’t see Robson as being a poor defender tbh. I agree he’s targeted because of his height and not being particularly strong but once the balls on the deck he stands up fine.
No, he's targeted because he can't defend. Watch the highlights of the Dunfermline game- he passes the ball straight to the Dunfermline player for their 3rd goal. Nothing to do with his height, he's just not good enough defensively.

because McGhee should be in the middle with McKenna, not at right back.
Surely Harrison has to start at centre half? It's only a few weeks ago you were saying how him and Dallison were "showing what they're really about after the reactionary shite spouted on here."

doubt he will feature much in the second half of the season
Based on what? He's started the last 12 games apart from when he was injured against Dunfermline.

Can we just get this shite stopped. Lewis Kidd is absolute dugmeat and in no way a good enough right-back at this level.
This can easily be tested. Lewis Kidd has played nearly 150 games at this level, mostly at right back, under many different managers. If he left us he'd easily get another gig in the championship.
People can dislike a player but I wish they'd stop with this 'he's not good enough for this league' shite when the player concerned has played in the championship for 6 seasons.

Just shows you how people can watch the same thing and see the opposite eh!
I had a couple of non bairns at the game yesterday and they all thought our right hand side was far stronger than the left. Is it a P&B young team thing or is Robson genuinely rated by the support? I just don't see it.Kidd has taken over the designated scapegoat spot in the team now that Muirhead isn't playing. He'll be slated every week until he's dropped regardless of how he plays while Robson gets away with murder on the opposite flank.

Don't have a problem with this. Ray obviously know the player well and feels he can get the best out of him. It also hopefully means we've seen the last of Brough and Harrison.
McGhee McKenna Edge Dixon
is how we'll be looking in defence I think.
