Has there been a big shake up at Hurlford recently? Jut curious as i saw Alex Mont is away, Saw the guy Ross with Largs, then saw Auld Jimmy and Willie Hamilton at Bonnyton. Could be concidence.

No but I seen the video of the incident which didn’t look good for either side. I’m not saying kilbirne fans are angels but there has been a few incidents involving st rochs over the past couple of years which has no place in this level of football. If they want to chant there sectarian bile and fight with other fans they can piss of up to Celtic park and do it.0 -
With any luck the authorities will boot St rochs out the league. If there not chanting republican songs there fighting with other fans. Not needed at this level of football

That not happening tho, everyone will be treated equally, John and myself would never allow that to happen. Changing rooms are too small and tight nit to start that nonsense.
Mick can I ask how you’s can afford to pay these players? I’d imagine you’s will have 1 of the biggest budgets in the league and with players not taking a reduction taking into consideration there will be no gate receipts and hospitality surely the club is going to take a big hit financially.0 -
No problem with the decision.
However they should not get to remain in the prem and should be forced to start at whatever the bottom tier is next year.
So unfair on those teams that are going to at least try and play. Its a travesty what teams like glens are getting away with.
It’s not a travesty we’re in the middle of a global pandemic some teams think it’s viable and safe to go ahead with the season and some teams don’t. The chances of fans getting in before Xmas is literally zero, there’s no changing facilities and players also have there jobs to think of and smaller clubs are getting zero help from the government. This season should have been scrapped altogether and saved the clubs into making this tough decision.4 -
Why should the manager not have a massive say in things!
Most dedicate their life to the football clubs they work for so said clubs have teams to field every week never mind the fact in this case the manager has given ten years service and multiple honours to the club.
Not forgetting everything that has been done to get this season to the point we are at now.
The glens not only shat the bed big time like pollok they did it at the last minute because two other nearby clubs decided to give up, totally spineless no wonder he jacked it in.
Was the manager paying the wages like? The Glens like other teams decided it wasn’t financially viable to play without there main source of income the fans. It’s quite obvious like the other teams that have withdrawn there players refused to play for nothing and you can’t blame them. Respect clubs decisions and move on.2 -
i think it was the main stranraer team cumnock were due to play not the u21s,just a thought.

Why bring talbot into it? I’m simply asking what guidelines Cumnock never followed because nobody seems to know. Kennie is on twitter having verbals with fans but has yet to explain what guidelines wasn’t followed.0 -
If Kenny is involved (I dont know if it is) he will be making decisions according to guidelines issued. And if the guidelines aren't being followed then what's the problem?

Are any of these clubs open all through the week?Presume Cumnock is but suspect the others only on match days/weekends?
At the moment I think it’s only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday but before lockdown I believe it was only closed a couple of days during the week.0 -
I maybe biased but there’s no social club still around like Cumnock juniors social club. Still the lifeblood of the community 40 years on and the place to be in Cumnock if your ever looking for a good wee night out.

Mark , for the record here is why i resigned from the football club - i was lambasted for the following decisions by the chairman
1- the lottery which i worked really hard over the years to bring in 25k a year to the club needed new members so i went to the Galston YC chairman a good friend of mine and said you guys go to the mums and dads of galston and coaches and bring in a 100 new members i will give you half of it and half to us - that was lambasted by the chairman but i would have thought having an affiliation with the club that was quite a fair deal for everyone ? so why have the affiliation if you cant help each other ? i think we all know the answer to that
2 - i came up with the idea of a juniors wall to commemorate the guys who have played a part in the clubs history over the years and now we have became a senior club it was the ideal time for this , at the same time the local rangers supporters club approached me and asked if they could have a bust for sammy cox , an ex darvel , rangers and scotland player and i thought yea thats a good idea , again i told them any bricks we sell would be ours but any they brought in would be 50-50 , bearing in mind an e mail was going out to every rangers supporters club in the world , 12,000 of them it could have been a huge money spinner - again this didnt go down well
3- i did a deal to sell eddie ferns to cumbernauld which involved us getting 100 match programmes from cumbernauld chairman for every home game and a really good programme at that for this forthcoming season , no hard to work out at £2 a pop plus sell advertising spaces which myself and some of the guys on the commitee had already sold that it would have brought in approx 7k , they sold him for £1500 ?
this gave me no option to resign from my role at the club but i and the other boys who have left are steeped in the history of the club and will still continue to follow darvel home and away and we all wish the club every success in the future , and luckily for you guys we are now allowed on here to talk pish so will make saturdays more interesting for you all if and when the season ever starts , and as for your point re talbot getting mentioned in their post which has disappeared for some reason there are plenty of massive clubs who will pose a threat to darvel and im sure mick and the players will know that
Sounds to me like the pieman is a bit of a dictator it’s either his way or no way at all. I don’t know you personally DL but I’m lead to believe you have a long affiliation with darvel and only want the best for them. It’s clear darvel have made big strides over the past couple of years but I fear the worst for them if the pieman decides he’s bored of his little side project and walks away. You can hardly call him a diehard supporter since he’s only been involved for a few years. Worrying times for darvel imo.0 -

Nobody knows who's running the show, the respected junior men who knew the clubs and region and who did great work over the decades left high and dry instead we get people temporary in charge who nobody knows and anybody who has heard of them they are from plastic nobody clubs who have been around for two minutes and then the odd leak of info on here from someone in zoom calls with them.
An illegal act took place during a global pandemic with photographic evidence .
The book should be thrown at a bunch of chancers who should be nowhere near the game in the first place.
No meaningful statement no leadership to address this just a bland statement that anyone can read between the lines of and know they know what's went on but hoping it goes away.
This horror show of a club threatened legal action when they didn't get what they wanted in turn inflicting a shambolic 38 game season on 16 clubs, no action on this will only give the green light for this club to do whatever they want breaking whatever rules and just use money and lawyers to put off anyone supposedly running our game taking any proper action against them.
Shambles.

Let’s face it most folk are aware of what has been going on at Cumnock over the last two years. Laughable they can claim to be hard done too when they robbed us and offered a friendly. The present manager only solidifies that type of thing, at least the punch up will be fun to watch from a far

I would doubt it but I would imagine relations between the clubs are damaged.
One thing that has just occurred to me is the grass leaked it to a "journalist" who covers Kilwinning therefore making them the prime suspects of the leak as they would probably benefit if Talbot did lose the title. So they were trying to tarnish the reputation of one club and put another club into the frame as the leak . Absolute disgrace of a club
Can’t imagine many people from Cumnock will lose sleep over damaged relations with talbot. And I reckon that boat sailed a year or so ago when talbot signed keir samson on an amateur form so they didn’t have to pay a development fee to Cumnock so maybe have a look at your own club before calling others a disgrace.0 -
Correct. Whoever it was at Townhead Viperdome that leaked it was not on some moral crusade to clean up Scottish football.
It was a cynical and vindictive attempt to tarnish Talbot's name and to an extent it succeeded but nothing changed, Talbot are still Champions and will enter the Scottish Cup next season.
It has certainly done irreparable damage to Cumnock's reputation. They have shown to be underhand snakes who can't be trusted

Bawrash1 it was a Cumnock committee member that leaked the information from cumnock email so if Cumnock can't identify who leaked it then the club will be looked at in a different way and will have to bear the brunt of it . Unfortunately people don't forget things like this and no one will trust cumnock again
And nobody from Cumnock will give a flying f##k tbh. The person responsible for leaking the email deserves a pat on the back.-1 -

Well the rest of the hierarchy involved in Scottish football are hardly covering themselves in glory at the minute so what makes you think anything will be different with wosl committee?

If you read it right it says it was an individual who leaked the email not a club and there was no proof of who it was but I say good on them whoever it is for doing it as it just shows you the corruption involved in Scottish football.0 -
Yep, probably done them more damage than Talbot, As the report says if they were unhappy with the decision there were avenues they could have undertaken, instead they ran to the papers like snakes
Good on whoever it was who leaked the email to the press and showing how corrupt Scottish football is. Over the past 3 months the Scottish game has been the laughing stock of world football and this just adds to it. Just swept below the carpet like many other things. I personally couldn’t care who was awarded the league but it’s clear Chisholm abused his power of being on the sjfa committee to benefit his club. Why were the west region so desperate to have a club representative in the senior Scottish cup next season when the east and north region had already waved the right to play in it? Let’s just hope the new wosl committee have more of a clue than the numpty’s who run the junior game but I very much doubt it.4

Can you explain why you have Cumnock playing 3 games before the Scottish cup semi final and the glens have only got 1 game when they have played less games? You couldn’t run a bath kennie you should have been binned with the rest of the dinosaurs at the sjfa.
