I heard that Adeloye had a contract basically all sorted with Dundee, and at the last minute went to Swindon because they were offering £300 a week more… I think his agent has fucked it for him with that move.

On the train back home with a massive smile. Unbelievable result considering the first 5 minutes. A friend of mine came along tonight who hadn’t been to Somerset in 4 years, but when we went 1-0 down I said to him that we’re still in this. He’s an Arsenal fan so was happy to see big Kirk playing. He’s not promised to come back, but we’ll see… I’m probably known amongst family and friends for getting carried away and being an optimist, but the fact that we did what we just did… a man can dream. We looked solid at the back in the second half (big shout out to Albinson), we created a lot of chances, and scored two excellent goals. What a buzz! p.s. get it up the Dundee player who got sent off.

I’d like to think that our start to the season, and the amount of chances we’ve created would make us an appealing prospect for players without a club and also to Premiership teams loaning players out. Im still hopeful of us doing some good business next week.

The stuff going on off the park is really amazing. All the building blocks are being put in place for us to be successful (hopefully) long term. Who knows what will happen on the park this season, but a top half finish, and maybe even a playoff will definitely keep the core fans coming along and attract new supports/stay away supporters to attend. Win win. From the home games so far, I’ve seen loads of old faces that I’ve not seen at Somerset in years, and I’ve got mates who are making more of an effort to come along. My wee brother is a goalkeeper playing in the 09s and 10s and I’m so glad he’s at Ayr after playing for Rangers for a few years. I’m quietly confident we’ll him in an Ayr first team in the future…

Yesterday a few of us were debating what badge we preferred, and I definitely prefer the new badge! I was in the minority though.

Musonda MOTM by a country mile. He is superb. Big Kirk didn’t put a foot wrong either (unless he gave away the pen I’m not sure). What a result and absolutely buzzing we are top of the league! Only person I’m going to have a moan about is McKenzie… he has to score at least 2 today. COYA!!!!

It’s ridiculous that the club are paying to be able to host Black and White TV (I assume they’ll be paying someone to host the website), and not charging us, so it’s costing the club money. It’s an absolute no brainier to put the footage on YouTube, where each video they’d upload is guaranteed thousands of views, it’s free for the club to upload and use, and they’d gain some ad revenue, albeit quite small amounts. We all know YouTube is very user friendly, everyone probably has the app on their phone, TV etc. I think they should can Black and White TV completely as soon as possible, and just call it a failed experiment. I can’t see many people paying £5 a month or whatever they want to charge to use that horrendous website.

Absolutely! There was a moment in the second half where he had his shirt or arm pulled but he kept going. Tomi would have flung his arms in the air in a strop and the attack would have been over.

As I said, we tore them apart in the first half and at the start of the second. Their defence was looking bad, but I thought the pairing was looking decent. Dippo should have buried his chance 1 on 1 in the first half but probably had too much time to think. Same with JML later on in the second half. I think we’ll stay up this season, maybe with a push for 4th.
