  1. Unfortunately I don't think they've put on sale the right hand side of that new section. At least we've got around 1k, if we had lost on Saturday I reckon the numbers would have been considerably lower. COYA!
  2. I don't think there'd be a second tier behind the goals, but I'm sure they are actively making plans to bring the East and West stands closer to the pitch.
  3. That would be a class redevelopment of Hampden!
  4. Not long to go now really. How are people planning on travelling to Wales or Austria if/when we beat Ukraine? Austria; A group of us have flights booked leaving from Glasgow to Vienna, leaving the Monday morning, and back to Prestwick on the Wednesday. £41 return. No big deal if it's not Austria, and the hotel has free cancellation. Wales; This one is causing more of a headache! We fancy a shorter trip, leaving early on Tuesday morning and back on the Wednesday. Most busses we've seen are leaving on the Monday, but surely there's a number leaving on match day? Saw return flights to Bristol for £71, and the train to Cardiff is coming in at £126 at the moment. Again the hotel is free cancellation. If anyone knows any day trip/one night busses leaving the Glasgow/Ayrshire area (or passing through Glasgow) I'd be grateful to get more information. Cheers!
  5. I actually thought we were much better today, and it's obvious we are making progress going forward. Slow progress, but progress. We should have won, but at the same time Dunfermline could have won it too with some close calls.
  6. He also gifted many teams a few goals. A standout for me was Peterhead away during the Trust Bus days, when his spine left his body and he allowed a striker through on goal. A memory etched into my mind.
  7. I kicked myself for not getting Eddie Annand. My mind goes completely blank for things like that, think I got 60 odd. How on Earth did Eddie Forrest make the list?
  8. I'm a 15 pointer, and if it was Wales I'm confident I'd get a ticket. It would require every single member on 16+ points to take a ticket, which obviously won't happen. You just need to be on the ball when the sale drops to 15 pointers. However, I do completely agree that this game should be treated as a cup final. Even a 70/30 split for Wales would be sensible. For Austria give us the same and if we didn't sell the full allocation then they get them back.
  9. We can debate the defence all day long, but the worst part of last night was the fact that we barely registered a shot, particularly in the second half. Murdoch had a chance which is still coming down from space, McInroy floated one into the keepers hands, and Bryden hit one wide. Their keeper made one good save in the second half from a header. Why was this the case? Because for the majority of the game, all we did was lump it to Ashford and their CBs won every header. Utterly soul destroying stuff. I'll say it again - 4-4-2. We will go down without a fight otherwise. I'm dreading the next two games.
  10. That was my first league game since October, and I don't think I've celebrated a goal in person since Afolabi scored up in Arbroath. We were poor tonight. The long balls were draining my soul (I know the pitch was horrendous, but look at the goal they scored). Their CBs were winning every single header. Bryden was the wrong player to bring on, and McInroy should have had at least 45 minutes. I really do have a sinking feeling that we are going to finish 9th/10th... Bullen has to play 4-4-2 and it's as simple as that. Highlight tonight was McCall getting booked.
  11. I hate it when managers hit out with "we look really good in training", or, "we've trained really well this week". On yesterdays showing for most of the game, it looked liked they had never met each other before! Players stretching for basic passes or the simple ball not being played. Yesterday reminded me a bit of Raith away under Duffy. Absolutely horrendous 1st half, then a much better 2nd half when we actually had a go. I think Ashford looks very good. He's the polar opposite of Adeloye. He chased down every ball, he's quick, and he actually had a pop at goal which he obviously scored. I just wish he had scored with that one on one instead of trying to put it on to his right foot. We cannot have anymore of those first half displays, it will keep fans away and ultimately relegate us. Play 4-4-2, and whilst we might concede, we will also score. Go with the McCall mentality of we'll score more than you. Absolutely need to have a go at Partick or they'll pump us again.
  12. The fact it's that it's longer term deals fills me with more confidence. They actually (hopefully) have to put a shift in.
  13. My initial thoughts were that it was about the abuse on here towards McGinty.
  14. Watched a bit of Joe Chalmers' signing interview with Dunfermline... Wow he's boring off the park too.
  15. I'm hearing rumours Salkeld is leaving too. Probably hear that later today or sometime this week.
  16. Looks like he runs through porridge. I hope this means we've freed up wages for someone decent.
