Natural Order will continue on Saturday.

Far too much time on your hands, utter freak.

Dream weekend would be to scud these c***s and the board simultaneously sacks McCann.

    Realistically neither will happen.

I think Archie Knox would be a brilliant candidate if he was up for the hassle until the end of the season. Hugely experienced and has that nutter persona about him whilst also having the track record of being a really competent coach. He attends our matches and Nelms is apparently a big fan, I don't know how true it is but people were saying that he had his notebook with him on Saturday so I wouldn't be surprised if he has been briefed.
My worry would be about most appointments is that they would likely command a long-term contract to convince them to take it which could badly backfire in a few months time. We just need someone to come in and sort out the current situation as a matter of urgency.

I have heard from one source that Archie is being lined up to step in as interim manager - with Barry Smith as his assistant.

Unless things change quite dramatically, and very soon, you’re going to know all about the Championship forum next year.

In the meantime, I will scurry off to back to the Championship forum and leave you to post in peace with the big boys......

    DUFC- Utter shite (Championship)

A few Scottish players who are still free agents:
    Paul Caddis
    Zander Diamond
    Andrew Driver
    Gordon Greer
    Gary Irvine
    Russell Martin
    Paul Quinn
    Nick Ross
    Steven Smith
    Ross Wallace
    Martin Woods

Surely Ross Wallace would be a good signing and Driver ?

We could re-sign the White Cafu and he'd walk into the LB spot in the starting XI IMHO.

One of you has spent the past five years PMing abuse to someone who red dotted you, and the other just made a joke about someone suffering from Motor Neurones disease, forgive me if I don't feel insulted by your jibes.

I've never sent a PM in my life on here so I must've made the joke about motor neurones. If only I knew, would've made sure it was a good one.

The council website shows all the listed buildings in the city and it appears that the Main Stand isn't one of them. It's a dying breed of Archibald Leitch stands and it will be a crying shame when it is flattened.

For all the ridicule Dens gets from opposition fans it's a popular away day. Whenever I am working down south the one thing that people mention when I say I'm a Dundee fan is the closeness of the two grounds in the city.

It's clear that the old ground is holding the club back however. Hopefully in the future when I'm down south people will be asking about our latest trophy win rather than just how close we play to our rivalsemoji6.png.

happy to stand corrected. there must be few A Leitch stands left? especially with both ourselves and everton planning on moving

    AJ Leitch-Smith > A Leitch

I'm not entirely sure Lochee United have a use for one 3,000+ stand, never mind two.

We could always flog them to Falkirk to stick side-by-side and complete their ground.

Or Morton to put, well, anywhere really and it would be an improvement.

Realistically, they'll go to Morton for a couple months before deciding they're better off in Falkirk!

  8. I really think we should've cut our losses with McCann after the weekend and gave him his jotters, at least with the international break we'd have that little bit extra time to get someone in and working with the squad before the next game. However, with the board having gave Hartley as much time as they did, I wouldn't be surprised if an extra two games have been given.

Rangers and Hibs though in the next two games, I'm all for being optimistic but we're rather shite and you've got to think no points are coming our way.
