Im still a bit raw over this. It's a sending off all day long and that would have changed the dynamics of the game totally. However, it's done now. Great game of football and thanks to Pollock for thel warm welcome our club and supporters recieved.
All the best for the season and we hope you can bring the league title home to Glasgow along with us.

Fantastic game at Pollock yesterday. Score line is a bit harsh on The Field who put in a great performance but the Soosiders class showed through in the end.

Great game tonight at The Rock. Resut could have went anyway but well done to the Candy. Fantastic crowd and friendly atmosphere. All the best for your special season from all at Ashfied.

lt's hard to predict the winners of League 2. l strongly fancy The Field for promotion and expect the title race to go all the way with VOC having a big say.
Can't wait until the big KO on the 3rd of August.

However would just like to say overall has been a very positive season for the club with great work being done on and off the park. Maxi has came in and changed the whole mentality of the club as we had struggled over the years. We have one if not the youngest backroom staff in junior football and they will come back stronger and better. Thanks to everyone for there efforts both on the park and off it its been an eventful season and what will be will be and whoever wins the league and gets promoted will fully deserve it. I believe with the maxi, cairley and millsy in place we have individuals who will succeed and be top top managers and coaches.
The players are a great bunch of individuals and the committee members have been superb. Enjoy your break men because wont be long till we are back at it.
Good comment Candy. Wasn't to be for us today and fair play to VoC whom I think may just surprise a few people and come from the back to take the other promotion spot.

Fair reflection of the game Ewan. Performance from the field wasn't good on the eye but at this stage it's results foremost. We still live in hope!

Squeaky bum time in the race for promotion! The Field travel through to Forth this afternoon. Interesting games elsewhere, will be keeping a close eye on the scores.

Shaping up to be a great finish with battle for the title and the fight for 3rd place. Good " ugly win" for Ashfield today against a dogged Muirkirk side. Looking forward to the Gow visiting next week in what l'm sure will be a good contest,

Ashfield were fortunate to get the win against a vastly improved Salcoats team. However, we'll greatly take the vital 3 points and look forward to the trip to St Ants next Saturday. Good few teams in with a chance of promotion, should be some run in.
