5-1 down at HT sounds right in the defeat.
I don't think we've ever beaten Airdrie 7-1
I may well be the only person on this forum who was present when Queens lost 2-10 to Dundee at Dens in 1962. Gilzean scored 7, George Farm was carried off after 10 minutes - and no subs in those days !

Naysmith has done the best he can with a limited budget/squad. Give him more time.

Small squad - fears coming home to roost

BBC article on Dobbie (Stephen Dobbie: Queen of the South striker is Europe's most prolific marksman) good interview with him too and chat from Rodgers & Naysmith.

Some player!
Great wee piece. Interesting that Dobbie says (not for the first time) "My last COUPLE of seasons...." !

We didn't dominate midfield yesterday, Stirling wasn't his usual effectve self and perhaps should have been replaced earlier by Frizell. I thought Dobbs was a bit greedy at times and the high balls to Dykes became predictable. Queens could defnitely have won that game, but defensive lapses, like those for the first two Thistle goals, are always going to be punished. Great travelling support !

Surely the talented Cochrane is a non-starter !

I’ve been mulling over how many internationalists have played for Queens in the last 60 years. I’ve come up with 11. Are there any more ?
George Farm, Bobby Shearer, Willie Telfer, Jackie Plenderleith, Neil Martin, Ivor Broadis, Sam Malcolmson, Andy Goram, AlanJohnston, James McFadden, Cammy Bell.
