Imagine we’ll see how he does in pre season but if he does go on loan I think Clyde would be a good option given he knows the club and the manager and, as I said, would now be playing 1 league up.

Whilst Banks did get rave reviews and looks a great prospect it’s worth noting a lot of his appearances were as a substitute so I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes on loan again, even back to Clyde who are now in League 1 and looks to get 25-30 starts under his belt. On the other hand if he’s good enough I’ll have no issues with him being around our squad every week.

Pre season starts on Monday, not sounding like we’ll have any more new signings by then. Wonder if we’ll have some trialists in training next week. How many more signings are we likely to make? I don’t think another centre half will be a priority, though I do feel we need better than Connolly/Frans. Maybe if we manage to get rid of a couple of defenders. Believe there will be another signing from Argentina to come.

Fact that Clyde have been promoted may work in their favour if utd put him on loan again. Think it would make sense for him to go and play 25-30 games at league 1 than maybe 4 or 5 sub appearances for Utd (possibly not even that if we get promoted). Have only heard positive things about him, hopefully lives up to the billing over next few years.
