Premiership clubs starting in the same round as everyone else isn't going to happen, let's get real. And should you really want a fixture like Celtic v Burntisland Shipyard? I've been to Lochee United v Burntisland Shipyard in the 1st preliminary round this season. That finished 7-0 and the only reason that the score wasn't higher, was because the pitch was awful due to it pouring down with rain so Lochee didn't want to take any unnecessary risks and slowed down considerably in the second half, otherwise I have no doubt the game would've ended in double figures. Imagine them playing Celtic...

Apologies if somebody else has already posted this but according to wiki (which is prone to errors), Burntisland Shipyard hosted Celtic in the Scottish in 1939 and lost 8-3. Does this mean that Lochee United are better than Celtic.......

This could be the most boring thread EVER.

Six hours after the original post we have loads of posts replying so it would appear that lots of people beg to differ. Would you prefer grounds with a taxi rank outside? Now that WOULD be boring!

  3. Do the rules not state that its got to be a ref who judges if a pitch is unplayable or not? He/She could be in real trouble if it's proved that the pitch was playable surely. Take it the SJFA have been informed of this so they could arrange for a second opinion. Must admit I've never seen holes made by foxes. Is the damage easily repairable?

Thorniewood vs Banks O'Dee now being played at Carluke's ground after 3 postponments

Thought if you had three home goes and it was off every time then the game switched to your opponent's ground. Or is that just an old wives tale?

Put in place by Fife Council whose Provost is Jim Leishman - a frequent visitor to the ground (and ex-Kelty manager)  or so I'm told. As is Alex Rowley MSP. Coincidental surely. Meanwhile other Fife Junior and Amateur clubs get a p*sh poor service from the Local Authority who are cash-strapped but still are able to provide Kelty with an ex-school hut (for hospitality) AND hooked it up to the water and leccy at the tax-payers expense.

Why do so many people rise to the bait of this absolute loser? If you were asked to draw a picture of the biggest computer geek then I'm pretty sure it would closely resemble this twat. The oldest virgin in Kelty. Sorry - did I say Kelty? I meant to say Fife. Sorry - did I say Fife? I meant to say Scotland.  Gordon Hunter you are a ****** absolute embarrassment to  The Kingdom. Rant over.

Still trying to negotiate somewhere as far as I know. Some greedy clubs out there!

Call me naive but should this not have been sorted out a while back? And what if the 'Greedy Clubs' want too much?  Where will The Fed play home games?

  8. Don't get in a tizz about this wassick. Honestly -  if someone asked you to design a geeky twat  without ever seeing Gordon (is a Moron) then  you'd draw a skinny speccy git (not there's anything wrong with that!)

How much more did Carnoustie pay Jamie Winter  to move from Broughty? Does that mean they have a bigger budget ?

Whats happening at the club ? Both manager and club captain resign and retire in the same week ? Strange.

Read elsewhere that Carnoustie U19 team couldn't field a team in The Scottish yesterday. Connected or just a coincidence.
