  1. Great work. Been wanting someone to do something like this for ages.

Thanks man! Seen myself wanting to see the Falkirk highlights and then the Utd highlights (which you’ve to pay for) to see shanklands goals, and the Albion rovers game as it was goals galore. Thought there should be an easier way to do this thank search for them individually. So now it’s just a scroll through 15 games and pick which one.
  2. I have created a twitter account that will show all the highlights from league 2, league 1 and the championship. Fancy seeing how your rivals done? Check out the page. Hopefully discussions etc can take place in the long run. Just trying to give better exposure to teams and their leagues. If you can share this to get it about it would be greatly appreciated.

All the best for the season ahead folks!

  5. I think our supporters might feel hard done by or something but I don’t get it. Nisbet owes us sweet F A. He came in with no one expecting much and if it wasn’t for him banging on goals, pretty much single handedly I’d guarantee crowds wouldn’t be as high etc. He owes us nothing and I wish him the best. Young talent beginning to grow, good on him. Yes it stings it’s to the Pars but s**t happens.

Be different if it was Vaughan, give that boy a 10 year contract. Love of my life, don’t tell the Mrs.

  6. I understand that all teams will have certain factors for attendances but Raith also have the Fife Flyers in Kirkcaldy. (Basically a two team town) I have been to a couple over the past 2 years and it’s pretty much a sell out.

Think it’s like 2000/2500 per game sometimes twice a week at home.

Good team in the top division of British Ice Hockey, must have more appeal than good team 3rd division Scottish football

Don’t know if this is at all a huge factor or a wee one but worth taking into account I reckon

  7. I wish the SPFL would look at the scheduling of these matches, if at all possible. We were up against Liverpool v Barcelona last night meaning those who went were denied the chance to watch a classic comeback and then the 2nd leg of the final goes up against the FA Cup final. Madness.

We will get some big screens set up for you and you can be in charge of the remote. Watch both at once.
  8. As the thread says ‘How was it for YOU’ I shall reply about personally and not about the team.

I’m 22 and worked in retail and been to uni therefore seeing Raith on weekends has been a tough ask, therefore I only attended the odd home game. Maybe about 5/6 a season plus booked holidays for big games.

This season a new job meant weekends off (only until after February unfortunately) but with this I attended almost every game at home in that time and started attending my first away games. First one was at East Fife away which we should have been 3-0 up at half time (only 1-0) and get beat 2-1 for them to break the jinx on them that lasted decades. Although for me the atmosphere was superb and made me attend more away games which is almost a completely different feeling compared to Starks park.

After February I’ve been working weekends with the odd one off which I’d be wherever the Rovers were playing.

This season for the Rovers has been shocking but for me personally I’ve loved it. The highs the lows and that Scottish Cup game vs Dunfermline with the Vaughan hat trick was absolutely fantastic. As with the away day at Easter road at the Mash Tun in the next round.

Absolutely loved this season for me, fairy looking forward to next season, no matter where we play.

  9. Almost every Raith fan on here is downplaying there chances....i believe it's all bollocks.....full time outfit who MUST go up this time, Raith will be a different team in these 2 games, huge favourites for me....we ARE the underdogs.

Let’s not have a pissing contest about who is going to be the biggest underdog. An underdog is someone who has little chance of winning, this tie is as close to 50-50 as you are going to get.

Ps is someone comments about 50-50 as a score line I’ll not be happy lol
  10. I don’t really think it matters when we are at home in my opinion. I think it would be naive to go into either game, home or away and not just go all out attack. Sit Nat on the halfway line in front of the defenders and everyone else’s main priority is balls in the box and looking to play in Nisbet.

Defence is absolutely shambolic and whether it is in this round or the next one you can almost guarantee they will be the ones that lose it for us.

Ps. Even if Vaughan is even 20% fit we should play him anyway. Stick him on the edge of the box and it’ll be all good [emoji23]
