Which stand are we in on Saturday? I noticed the livi fans were put away up in a corner of the main stand instead of the corner we usually get.

Must be going back 20-odd years though right enough!! Bought an adidas CCCP top from there and a new joystick for my Commodore 64 from the bit next door. Glory days!! The shirts I had back then would be worth a fortune now.

Slightly off topic, but who was the ned winger / striker we signed from the juniors back in the early 90's i think. his name was Tom something and I remember him appearing at Broomfield with the bleached blonde hair and white boots and he was absolutely horrific, however he scythed someone down, got a yellow card and then took the applause from the Ayr fans for said bad challenge, always sticks in my mind that along with the terrible twins at the back, Prenderville and Rodgers who were always on "psycho mode".
Barry prenderville and Dave Rodgers.
Prenderville came from down south and I can’t really remember much about how he played but Rodgers was in the Dundee team for years I’m sure. Think he was supposed to have a decent free kick on him.
Rodgers I remember being garbage.

Is it the case that to keep players on with a view to furlough then the club would need to front the money and claim back later from the govt? Cash flow might dictate that some clubs don’t bother if that is the case.

Bit of a long shot but is there anywhere I’d be able to get the Purple away top from a few years back and the yellow effort from our league winning season two years ago. They are two beauties which I had at the time but due to gaining weight got rid of them.

Legally they probably have to but they could leave it up to the individuals to claim it. I think you get about three games gratis on season tickets so essentially people are losing out on one game they have paid for.

Does anyone ever notice that our games consistently get the least column inches in terms of previews in the papers? Also always seems to be based on the other team. Do we do all we can to engage the press?

Makes you wonder how harmonious things have been in the interim between Kerr and Stewart and team. There’s obviously a difference in their respective approaches.

I’m scarred from years gone by doings from Dunfermline, French, Petrie, Paul Smith (was great for us when we won the 2nd division, loved to put the goalie and the ball in the net straight from kick off to set the tone), Norrie Mccathie et al, Never confident against them. Think 7 at EEP was the darkest of them.

Just listened to sportsound from last night with Adams and Hughes as guests.
Good news is Derek Adams has ruled himself out.
John Hughes says he enquired about it weeks ago and was told Stewart was getting the job but he’s now been put off by ‘mixed messages’ in that we are interviewing for the role. Sounds like he wanted a red carpet rolled out.
