M.McKenna then…..

Michael McKenna still got a bit or is he done lads?

3-0 QOTS Dobbie hatrick.
All jokes aside, qots players seem to only really show up for the games against us so would take any sort of win.

If a bid comes in for Morrison, the two questions that need to be asked are firstly, can we win the league without him? And secondly, does the fee offered outweigh the damage to the club from potentially not going up this season?
If the answer is no-no, then we shouldn’t really even consider it.
Even if that is a No-Yes we shouldn’t even consider it, we have to go up.

So how large a fee would we be happy with if he did go?
I doubt they even have enough to convince me to be happy with him leaving mid-season of our most important season for many a year.

Always like taking points off Falkirk. Very nearly happened at Falkirk Stadium last time round. At LP, we got a point. Hoping we do better next time round.
Enjoy another year in this cesspit

With Back Post Misses not here at the moment, who else that posts on P&B has pals on the board? Please, tell them to get McGlynn gone a.s.a.p! He has to go now, even giving him the first quarter of the new season will condemn us to yet another season in League One. He has to go now.
By the way, did I say that he has to go now?
Fucking hell you wouldn’t think we just lost a friendly.

Spencer probably better than both McGinn (legs) and Yeats (inexperience) for the deeper playmaker role. Certainly more creative and forward thinking than Hendo.
Miller almost certainly better than McGuffie. Hard to imagine he's not at least as good as Kennedy. Agyeman, likewise. Also offers good pace and additional physicality and can play centrally, so also probably better than Burrell.... Probably. Closer to the finished article and able to impact games from the start.
McIver more suited and specialised than Oliver if the lone striker role is one we are going with. I'd expect more of what McGlynn wants out of that position than we seen from Oliver who tried but wasn't necessarily suited.
Lang. Is he better than Donaldson? Well that depends on which version of Donaldson we get. But the start of the season version was undoubtedly one of the best CHs in the league, so you would imagine Lang partners him. That leaves Mckay, Mackie, Watson and Hendo in terms of people who Lang needs to be an upgrade on. If you don't think he is, I don't know what to tell you.
Every single signing represents a net Improvement in the available quality. That's not to say further tailoring isn't needed, but let's not go over that in this context.
Every signing represents improvement and I've no idea how to make an argument otherwise. I don't have the psychic abilities to say whether it's enough, but it's disingenuous to say no improvement

This. We’ve brought in seven new signings and arguably not one is better than the failures of last season(s).
Tad late here but what?
How are Lang, Spencer, Miller and Agyeman not upgrades??

See he has signed for Falkirk, surely not outbid by them in terms of wages?
is that a wind-up?

Jamie Macdonald would be a great signing, when you look at the pish we have endured this season goalkeeper wise.

I think he could do well in the middle of a back 3
Would probably give him a try there if we are going down that route, but I don’t see much of a future for him in midfield, especially beside henderson.
Would need a runner in there IMO.
FWIW I think we will win the league next year, hearing promising things recruitment wise.

I am in the McGlynn in camp, but some of what has been on here is mental.
His failure to change games when things aren’t going well was one of the reasons we failed.
Also believe McGinn is all but done unfortunately, would be looking to move him into a coaching/player role when needed.
