Championship is a ridiculous league. Loads of players cast aside almost immediately because they've not hit the ground running. Clubs so desperate to reach the EPL they end up with massive squads with a crazy wages to turnover ratio.

That's pretty shite to be honest. Very poor from the club. I've seen folk get refunded because they just didn't want to go anymore.

I think you've been a bit too negative but there's a lot of merit in what you say. I've posted about it about ten times already but the amount of touches our players have to take compared to the opponents in addition to their heavy press made it very hard for our players to get a grip of the game. The quality of coaching in the country has improved massively. You can see it with how adept on the ball the young guys are. The problem is we're likely catching up to where some of these countries used to be as they evolve further. Lewis Ferguson is far superior to your average Scottish Premiership midfielder. That's why he has teams looking at him in the first place. No plan B is harsh. Glass has changed things at half time in several games and changed them. Can't agree with that at all.

If we shitfested our way to a 0-0 we'd all be saying we should have gone for it. They were just a better team. Unfortunately. That's what we want to be.

Pretty sure him and his brother strolled a game v Man Utd at a combined age of 30 a couple of years back. Don't think he gets a look in because Steve Bruce. On the subject of squad building, it's difficult. Players will hold off until as long as possible before the English clubs know what they're doing. By that point our season is already underway.

It should have been obvious to anyone last week that these lads would be good on a bowling green. They were playing the ball to each other half a yard above the ground to ensure it reached their man. One touch killed it dead, pass and move. Anyone in our team not called Scott Brown who's over the age of 23 needed time to get the ball out of their feet before playing a pass. By that time the space was gone. The only real chance we had was playing direct and winning second balls but they were first to most of them. We lose that fixture 9 times out of 10 IMO.

We didn't play well but there's no real shame in losing to that lot. Best team we'll see play at Pittodrie this season.
