Obviously budgets are the main reason but Davidson seems more suited to cup football (ignoring the fact he's won the double). With the resources he has I think he's more than capable of getting a result against any team in the country in a one off game. Probably lacks the quality of squad to be consistent for the full season. He did very well to finish top six but some teams (I'm looking at you At Mirren) seemed to throw it away.

Yesterday was a great finish. Probably the hardest chance he's had so far but he made it look easy. Interesting to hear they are doing extra work with Allan Russell after training. That's where Cormack Park will pay dividends.

There some truth to it though. The manager has said himself we'll be getting bodies in. How we do on Thursday is a contributing factor.

The stairwell song doesn't exist. The lyrics I've seen online are the Durrant song with some creative wording. There absolutely is an Ibrox disaster song. Anytime I've heard it sang at games I've been it's been very quickly drowned out. Can't say the same for pubs, supporters buses or bams on a Saturday night unfortunately.

It was a clear penalty.

Madden had a fucking nightmare. The penalty was the correct call but Hearts players either never received or a yellow or only seemed one long after they should have had one. Feel we should have won that. Looked relatively comfy until Gallagher gives away that foul. After the equaliser we looked like the only team that was going to score. Brooner strolled that. Jenks, McCrorie and Ramsay just behind him as standouts.

What? I said I expect they'll get big numbers initially and then the 'new' or 'lapsed' fans tend to not stick around because of the other nonsense on the show. It's exactly why I said Punk going 50/50 with midcarders is bad because then he's just another guy.

As I said before, they seem to be consistent in hitting a high number and then it settles down again. Usually they hit a high number when a big show is coming or a big star makes an appearance (Shaq/Tyson etc). Then it settles down. There's a lot of buzz around Punk and Bryan at the minute. I said at the time Bryan was heavily rumoured as being a done deal that I expect them to hit a high number for a period of time before settling back down to the usual 700-800k. I'm happy for you to bookmark this and tell me I was wrong in 6 months. As I said earlier, we aren't going to agree. No point going over and over the same thing.

The numbers seem to shoot up right around where it was rumoured they were signing Punk and Bryan. No? The hit one million every week since mid July. Hadn't hit it since May.

I don't think fans of either are that fussed about the other. Hence the big difference in the 'demos'.
