Surprised at how over the top they're going about the Spurs performance. Yes they easily won after a tough start but I always fancy them to do well against the other top teams. It's the shite they really struggled with the past couple of years.

McGeouch, McGinn and Hayes were awful. JET not much better, along with McLennan. Hibs are out of Europe. He was resting players for Thursday, not giving them a break after the game on Thursday.

Is McCrorie good enough on the ball to be the focal point though? McGeouch has the talent but lacks the confidence IMO.

A confidence sapping defeat against Raith will do far more damage to our chances against Qarabag than an extra game for a few of our better players. For all his good start this season Glass won't last long if he can't sort out the defence. Those are the parts I was referring to. For me, our two worst attacking performances have been against Livi and today. In both games we've played McGeouch in the 'Brown' role. He is far too happy to take the ball under no pressure then immediately give it back to Gallagher. Pointless. He's not taken anyone out of position and all he's managed to do is let the opposition get back in to their shape. Brown takes the ball under pressure and creates a gap further forward that the defender can then pass in to. A far bigger issue for me at the moment than the defence.

Gurr is a tough one. Thought he done ok in the first half was was woeful at the second goal. If we get a much better right back then he's going to want to play more games. Ramsay needs to play as often as possible without burning him out.

No complaints with the result. Raith deserved it. They'd have been level at half time if Zanetta had passed instead of shooting. McGinn and Hayes showing they are finished. McGeouch is not good enough to play ahead of Brown. JET is no lone frontman. We learned all this last week but the manager gave it another go this week and it was confirmed. He was absolutely right to rest players with Thursday in mind but the squad is not as deep as he thought.

The second week in a row McGeouch is showing he can't play the Scott Brown role. Slows the play down so much. A noticeable difference when Hayes plays instead of MacKenzie too.

Lads, it's easier just to say "I might have gotten it wrong on Glass" than find any and every little thing to criticise him for. I came to terms with the fact there's a good chance I got it wrong about him before the previous season ended.

Every tactical decision is a gamble then.
