North Ayrshire council have put no money into the buffs moving all monies have been put in by the club. The council do not own the facility only the land it sits on the facility is community run by volunteers.

The added pressure from Darvel Legend is not needed. The guys predicting match day squads, Leagues, Cups, Best dressing rooms....The only thing you are doing is putting a big target on Darvels back when things don’t go to plan.
Sure you’ve got a good team who will are still gelling, A good manager who will be successful, A hard working committee who want to improve the club. But what they have in you DL is a man who clearly gives them added pressure, A negative arrogance that could be prevented.
Have faith in your team but don’t plant potatoes and wants chips tomorrow.

Fair play to shotts , we should have killed them off at 3-2 up and didn’t and even when they equalised they still wanted to win the game and did so hopefully that’s a wake up call For us as we can’t keep losing the amount of goals we are doing , I know we are 3 defenders short but we should still have enough quality to see games out

Definitely helps look at Kilwinning Glenafton Meadow now Darvel but they haven’t won anything as yet of course the budget helps
Buffs have signed younger guys this season and brought in some top amateur players, If anything they have trimmed the high earners and went with the youth and players who were tried and tested in earlier years. So far it’s looking great.1 -

Great 9 - 0 win for Buffs against Ardeer Thistle today! As the score suggests, Buffs weren't really tested, but another excellent performance from the lads, & some great goals too.... especially the 25 yard screamer from young Chris "Gowser" McGowan!
If you never won 9-0 against a team who finished bottom of all the junior leagues in Scotland then I would be worried.

Darvel will win the league due to the amount of money spent . If they fail to go up this season and not achieve that goal with the way the squads been revamped then it’s a major error in the management side of things because the club themselves clearly see the future.

Ourselves ( glenafton ) reached the junior cup Final in 2014 after 90% of squad being bulldozed in the summer. At the time seemed impossible , and then 3 years later one of the players who remained loyal went on to manage us to an historic treble and qualification for senior cup (when place still has to be earned!)
Straight off top of my head Talbot deserving a draw against hearts.. *robbed* of a draw.. And beating Ayr live on the B*C are others

It’s been a poor season for Darvel in regards to where they could have been, But good squad, Good Committee and if the right mans appointed then the top league will be realistic.

Darvel, Hes young and has good experience, May be seen as a gamble but he would get the team playing good football and install a winning mentality to a squad that is strong but just not found the level they are capable off.
Impressive stuff happening at darvel and it’s always positive to see a junior team working hard to improve there club.2 -
Cumnock job was to big for Peter Leonard that’s why he is back at that level with Whitletts, I was talking to lad who said Stevie Wilson at Ardrossan Winton was being considered, Good Manager
