“Falkirk are appealing” - now THERE’S a phrase that’s rarely seen.......

Re Warren Hawke - the fact that he has a position on with the SPFL has nothing to do with this affair. The fact that he is chief executive and a club director at Cappielow, and as such would have had much more to do with the administrative and contractual side of appointing  McKinnon and the other guys than Rae, the chairman,  would, has PLENTY to do with it. That’ll be why he was asked to appear and answer questions on the matters being discussed. Simples.

Go find some other straws to clutch at. Then keep them to yourself - this whole debate is becoming really tiresome. None of us know the reasons for the appeal. Time we all gave it a rest, let it take its course and then, no doubt, there’ll be plenty of ammunition for both sides to spout more nonsense

Some may disagree with that proposition.

Read all about it in the SFA Judicial Panel Protocol 2019/19 .

The case is about Falkirk facilitating McKinnon’ s contract breach by engaging him before his Morton contract expired. A minimum of seven days notice was required and if he had just walked and waited a week before he worked for Falkirk he might have been all right.

That's right and allegedly when it became apparent that Falkirk (on balance of probabilities) had been conned by Mr. McKinnon and his agent, one panel member was still determined to hang  the club out to dry. The appeal may prove interesting.
