I fit my own and assume the vast majority of cyclists who use them do.

I don't know why your heel would be uncomfortable wearing cycling shoes, that's a new one on me.  It can take a bit of time to align the cleats on the shoe to feel as comfortable as possible.  For me any issues are due to feeling that my foot is angled incorrectly (ie the toes are pointing slightly inward).  But it's easy enough to fix that.

Aye I think I've maybe got the cleats too far up my foot nearer my toes, maybe needs to come back a wee bit.

Other thing I noticed cycling with clipless shoes was my knees and lower quads killing me. No idea if this is because it's my first bout of exercise in 7 months, or if its the cleats or the height of my seat

  2. Not a great commute home when my back tyre went down and my pump fucked the presta valve and halved it 🙈. First time I've had a bike with these valves and they're a nightmare!

For those who have shoes, did you fit your own cleats or get someone do it for you? I fitted mines last night but my right heel was pretty uncomfortable whilst cycling today.

  3. Got gifted this from my MD last week! Not had a proper shot on it yet due to not having cycling shoes and matching cleats but got those tonight.

Been using a hybrid bike for the last 4 years so looking forward to this and seeing the difference when out on rides

Unfortunately my fitness is a shambles thanks to 7 months of no exercise after my achilles rupture back in September. Hoping this new bike will spur me on again!

To be fair to him, it's also available as an audio stream for our Jagzone subscribers. I'd guess most of those subscribers will have purchased the stream anyway, but it is what it is.

I don't really mind him, but most of his problems stem from describing what he thinks is about to happen, rather than what he's actually seeing.

I guessed he did the radio commentary, just a hard listen which is a shame as the stream is great.

Remember when we were getting an apartment in Dubai to raffle? That one ended up with the Hearts friendly and Malky Thomson in the what-might-have-beens.

Forgot about the Dubai apartment 😂😂. Has any other Scottish club had as many chancers and time wasters involved at their clubs as 23 have?

  6. Has anyone else here went through this shitey injury? Unfortunately online there's surprisingly little in how people have coped with recovery and how they were able to get back to their full fitness, if they ever did.

I ruptured mines back in September whilst playing 5s, only a few days after I cycled from Larbert to Largs (no idea if that contributed to it). I chose not to go for surgery so was stuck in the moon boot and crutches for 10 weeks.

Any recovery stories and tips would be welcome! Especially with the weather getting better I'm desperate to start getting fit again after 6 months of doing virtually nothing.

  7. Big uproar in Mönchengladbach after the Derby defeat to Köln.

Marco Rose has been running a squad rotation all season which isn't overly popular with the fans as we seem to take care of Bayern, Leipzig, BVB but then struggle against your Freiburgs and Hoffenheims.

Last night's game against Köln Marco Rose made 7 changes to the team that beat Stuttgart in thr DFB Pokal on Wednesday. Thuram, Plea, Hofmann, Elvedi and Bensebaini were all on the bench, 5 of our best players who in a  full strength XI, all of which would've started. In the starting XI v Köln, only Sommer, Lainer, Ginter, Nauhaus, Zakaria and Neuhaus would have started plus the 5 benched players.

Bad enough when Gladbach are chasing a champions league spot to be throwing away points with stupid squad rotation gambles but to do it against your fiercest rivals, no matter how shite they are and no matter the fact they played 120mins on Wednesday away in Regensburg, it was no excuse and the fans are angry. A strong 1 paragraph statement from the fan project (who are aligned to Borussia) said "anyone who uses a squad rotation experiment in a Derby does not understand Borussia mönchengladbach".

Unlike Bayern or closer to home BVB, Borussia don't have the depth in quality within the squad to rotate. We have a starting XI that could win the league, but we don't have the reinforcements for injury cover nevermind a rotation which is why we are not able to challenge

Marco Rose is also linked to the BVB job and is refusing to publicly accounce his commitment to Borussia mönchengladbach, again much to the annoyance of the fans.

Marco Rose was held in very high regards by the Borussia faithful but with his recent lack of commitment and Saturdays disaster and lack of respect to the fans and club (with his starting XI in a Derby), the "Marco Rose Raus" is becoming a popular phrase.

That's a phenomenal pass from Stindl.

Still my favourite Borussia player, he's outstanding! Thought he was excellent tonight but special mention to Hoffman who I was never really a fan of but since Marco Rose came in he's been class and tonight he was brilliant again, 2 great finishes from him!

Love a game against Bayern 😍

No idea what's going on but I fear there's a village missing an idiot. Just been added on Facebook and invited to share my mobile number for a "chat" regarding a post I supposedly made. Funnily enough it turns out he's got the wrong guy.

Out of common decency I'll not say who it is, but just be aware that any posts made re Clyde on here may lead to a part time Poirot taking the huff and seeking you out. 😂😂😂

That'll no doubt be the creepy time waster from Thomas the Tank 😂😂

  10. Said this earlier in a group chat, Montrose are one of the better teams in this league and their manager I have no idea why he is still there, especially when down the road in Dundee they still have that waster McPake.

Petrie easily one of the best managers in the league. He's built a cracking wee unit up at the Mo and has them playing well.

With all that, delighted we got the 3 points but that was all down to having the best striker outside the top league.

  11. Strange signing but to even have him in the dressing room is a huge deal.

Whether he'd fit in, maybe who knows. When we had McStay and Grant our midfield was fast and Nichol didn't suit that. Now our fast players seem to be further up the pitch with the front 3 made up out of Goodie, love, syvertsen and cunningham. To have Nichol anchoring the midfield in front of him, it might actually work.

Ideally I'd loved to have had Rankin back but surely Lennon must've already reached out to him as by bringing Nichol in, he knew what he needed in that midfield.

Singing as an amateur, Nichol loves the Clyde and we love him. Let's see how it goes.
