Just seen the team, and it looks like Murray sticking with the "hard to beat" thought. 7 (including GK) out of 11 players being defensive.

Absolutely shambolic. Murray hasn't got a clue. Even a 1-0 win here papers over the cracks. I'm really starting to hate this way of thinking. I'd rather go down 4-3 than a 0-1 bore fest.

You lot said the same last year about Murray then yous completely boabied us in the 2nd half

  2. Some of the worst gutless performances I witnessed from Clyde were that of Duffys teams. 3-0 defeats to the Shire, pumping every fucking time against QP, the list goes on. I honestly don't see the bug fascination with Duffys time at Clyde, it was called the Banter Years for a reason. Some of the shite he signed man, fucking hell where do I start? John Kane, Pat Scullion, Archdeacon, John Stewart...

Worst 3 managers definitely Brown by a country mile, then Miller and Chapman plus a special mention to Barry Ferguson whom I have no doubts that he put a shitload of effort into it but he was just shite and had a c**t of an attitude towards players and latterly the fans.

Top 3 from my time supporting Clyde had to be Lennon, Roberts and Kernaghan.

Question for you bully wee fans,   How did you rate Stuart Millar as a coach or manager,  he seems to be part of our coaching team and is now in the dug out on a saturday,  personally it gives me the fear...   Thoughts please

Your fears are justified. Don't need to say much more!

We have owners who have not invested one single penny in the club since they invested over a decade ago and have been pushing for a pie in the sky move to a stadium on a floodplain. Their ideal scenario now would be if Sons folded and they could sell the current stadium for housing.

    So in short, yes.

I got told a story last year that the investors at Dumbarton allegedly forgot they had even invested in the club? Sad story down there. Obviously the club would make a fortune selling that land for housing but I get the fear when smaller clubs do that, Clydebank and the Shire 2 that come straight to mind.

Blue-Toon, Will you be bringing your own referee again this time?

That game brought back some memories, I had forgotten how shocking that refereeing was that day, at least 2 stonewall yellow cards but that handball on the line, the only time I have seen anything worse than that was probably the Les Mortrem incident.

The referees performance was only topped by Blair Currie throwing it into the net twice.

That referee believe it or not is a Clyde fan!

Ooft, not here.  1 teaspoonful of rain and my garden's like a swamp 😞

Aye I know Kinnaird is like that but I'm guessing the new houses round the station must be there same seeing as it was old industrial land, same problem Dumbarton have with their stadium by the sounds of it.

Ah, our lovely Larbert plasticiney 'soil'.

Where I am it's sand based, used to be able to empty my hot tub onto the lawn and the grass was dry again within the hour. Pain in the arse during the summer trying to manage the lawn though, few days of dry weather and the sprinklers need to come out.

They normally use a local ref for the inspections and these refs have games of their own to go to. You will probably find it's written down somewhere when the latest time you can have an inspection is and they will holding the club to it.

Possibly. I remember years ago there was inspections at 1 and 2 but maybe things were changed after the outrage of supporters busses heading to Ross Country for example to find at passing aviemore the game was off.

Aye, I’ll be disappointed if it isn’t given more a chance due to the lack of travelling fans and the favourable forecast between now and 5pm.

Our need for cash from the stream far outweighs any tactical reasons for wanting it called off. Not a chance we’re deliberately wanting it postponed.

    Aye that's fair enough man

We don't have a threadbare squad.

It's just a shite squad. Unless we can postpone the full season?

I mind last year you guys had a right shite squad at the start then went on to have a decent season. Duffy was like that with us as well, signed players very late and the first quarter is like a preseason.

Asking for a pal here who is a wee bit short o cash & wants to come up to Glasgow soon hopefully maybe taking in a game if were allowed and he can manage to raise the admission funds...

So was wondering if anyone knows if the megabus still runs from the south of england & if there is anyway of avoiding the 50p booking fee, like a discount code or something would be great for him

Probably not the thread to post this on but is Clyde related

    Many Thanks
    SSB

Tell your mate to try bancodobrasil or sambadejaneiro . Tell him we'll pay for the round when he's up and we'll speak to the club about him getting in for free again 👍

  12. Excellent win and performance at the weekend but Dumbarton are no easy task. On Saturday we played against a team who played higher up the pitch which suits our quick front line and fast play. Dumbarton will be sat further back and as we seen last weekend, let them get behind you and they will finish.

Will be a stuffy game and Dumbarton won't be there to just turn up, they'll be fired up for this and will be looking for the win.

On paper it's a Clyde win, but it won't be as simple as that.

Was the Falkirk production made by a professional company or by fans?

If it was fans with cameras and an editing desk then it's understandable I'm sure they'll learn and it will improve.

If it was a bought in professional company, then it was truly atrocious.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was students from FV college.

Weirdly enough, my job my job involves vision mixing and telling cameramen where to point at for live streams. Falkirk probably tried to use a webhosting company rather than a streaming service and that's what fucked them.

  14. 3 things about this one, the song is class, the singer is hot as f**k and that science museum in Valencia is absolutely stunning. Eventually got to visit it 3 years ago, amazing piece of modern architecture, just a shame the museum inside was pish.
