Was anyone at the bounce game Tuesday night? Presume it was fringe & under 20s lining up vs the Swifts?

Yeah, I'm not overly familiar with the first team squad since my boy left in 2019 but know Joe, Robbie and Jason as they've been starters. Think there was 5, possibly 6 first team squad plus remainder being 20s.

Well, by going to Whitehill & Swifts I've seen 16 goals in 2 days. I could have made worse choices...

Absolutely mental game though yesterday, once you thought one side had the game under control, the other side suddenly took over again and it kept going back and forth all game. The came could have gone either way and Crossgates just had that bit more towards the end.

Sub standard refereeing/officiating led to a great game for the neutral but frustrating for players, coaches and fans of both teams. Not easy being a referee and linesman must do more imho. Great entertainment under the lights for a good crowd with some great play and good players on show. Great value for £6.

I wasn't at the game due to work. My boss wouldn't let me away early thank god he didn't

Going by accounts and the goals lost the first goal just before half time a free header 2nd half they scored 3 within a few minutes. 2nd goal too busy moaning about a foul and by looks of it heads had gone.

Need to show the fight and courage that we did 2nd half against linlithgow

5-0 going on 7 or 8. Fairly even first half with Swift's having more clear cut chances. Camelon were always a threat down their left side but are clearly weaker down right. 1-0 at HT, should've been 2 or 3.

Quick couple of goals early second half and Camelon heads dropped. A solid performance by Swifts all round reflected by spread of goals throughout team. Front two for Swift's were real quality all game/real handful and will be a threat to any team if they get decent service.

Camelon have good players but are light up front and weak down their right side with confidence clearly an issue. A big job for Jonny Harvey and his coaching team.

    Saturday 23rd October 2021
    R2:
    Kinnoull 2-0Coldstream
    Newburgh 1-6 Broxburn Athletic
    R3:
Blackburn United 1-2 Penicuik Athletic (aet, FT 1-2)
    Dalkeith Thistle 0-2 Linlithgow Rose
    Edinburgh United 1-3 Syngenta
    Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts 5-0 Camelon
Musselburgh Athletic 2-0 Kennoway Star Hearts

No surprise outcomes - but some surprise ways of getting there... Inverkeithing hammering Camelon; Blackburn taking league leaders to ET; Edinburgh Utd leading Syngenta at HT.

Wee man was different class last night! Hopimg he gets a good chance in the 1st team soon.  Is he still ages to play 20s next year?

Yeah, he’s only 18 at moment. Spent a lot of time at Benficas academy over the past 2-3 yrs so this is his first full season back training and playing with a team since he left Hearts in 2015...... I’m sure he’ll keep developing game by game.....thanks alot

Of the 20 players that are in the current u20's squad, 12 of them are too old for next season. Itl be a bit of a rebuild with younger players joining the existing boys young enough in the 20's setup.

You may see the club aligning with another club to farm out some players so they are playing mens football weekly to help their development aswell as run a younger 20's model.

Believe 9 of the current squad are overage next season (with 2 of those already on contracts with the first team) and  therefore 11 of the current squad still eligible (2000s plus 2001s dobs), so defo some rebuilding.......
