Hi, everyone!
We have launched the 23/24 season of Fantasy Football Scotland. We have gone back to the old format - pick just one team and enter it across as many leagues as you like!
There's a Pie & Bovril public league in the Leagues page, as well as a number of others. Thousands have already signed up for the new season. Would be great to see as many of you playing as possible!

Unfortunately, the fan leagues were never very popular. We liked them, but a very small percentage of the user base used them regularly.
You can search for contests just as you have the last two season - by using the code. You can also find contests by QR code and by links shared directly to social media (like Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp).

We had a public testing period over April and May with hundreds of testers involved (anyone who wanted to join testing was free to do so). With their input, we believe we have built a game that can satisfy everyone. The Classic game is still there for casual users, but there are now more options for users who desire even more of a test.
Over a year of work has gone into the new platform. It's being worked on all the time (updates to the app and site are being pushed every few days), but we're really excited about where the new direction can take us (we still haven't been able to utilise the new platform to its full potential).

You can use Quick Entry (look for the lightning bolt button) to replicate contests across leagues. Once you have entered, teams must be managed individually. This will allow you to have different transfers, tactics, strategies etc. across different contests! There's no need to be stuck with the same team!

I found the filter by team awkward as well as all teams are selected and you have to deselect all teams except the one you want where last year you just picked the one you wanted.
The player filter is being redesigned. In the meantime, you can click the filter button again to get rid of the filter and return to the player list page.

Hi everyone! Fantasy Football Scotland is once again back for the 22/23 season. As you'll no doubt know, the Scottish Premiership season starts on Saturday, so there isn't much time left to pick your teams. We have a new site for this season (fantasyfootballscotland.com) and have made a number of other changes (including the introduction of an Expert scoring tier). We are legally bound by GDPR law (given that we are a digital enterprise registered at Companies House in the UK) and abide by all GDPR laws

Hi guys. We understand what you're saying RE the Shaughnessy clean sheet points. There are a number of scoring quirks that we had to make a decision on and this was one of them. Some users like it, some don't - we have had feedback both ways. We are always evaluating rules and while we can't change rules mid-season, we will assess everything as we continue to develop the game.

Did try to select wildcard on Saturday but that just come up with a message - does it automatically select it if you have more than 1 transfer?

It looks good again, though, so let's see...Hi! Could you private message us any issues you're having? We're not aware of any irregularities. Is it possible leagues were in process of updating? That can appear like different scoring in different leagues, but it's just the system pushing through 40k accounts.

Hi! Sent you a private message earlier. It's an issue with a very specific iOS version. Your team is locked in and receiving points, just that you cannot view them live right now. New update in next couple days will sort, or you can update your iOS. Sorry.

Hi guys. This was an issue that affected a small amount of users. It should be sorted now. To do with timings (a trigger was set incorrectly) rather than anything to do with the actual game. Thanks.

Last season's got off to a start that would likely have seen most folk just chuck it as a bad experience but 100% fair play to you for putting your hands up early on in the process and pulling it whilst admitting it wasn't fit for purpose, then going back to the start and building it from scratch.
You could just as easily have rejected the criticism and spat the dummy or entrenched yourself in the mindset that it was good and f**k everyone, a la our old pal Scotzine (especially since it was a 100% free service you were providing).
