DKD away. Welp.
Why are we releasing players like DKD and keeping liabilities like Vigurs? He’s proved already this season that he’s not able to play in our system at this level, DKD is raw but has more enthusiasm and application than Vigurs ever had.

Marginal gains might be the difference between 12th and 10th?
Fair point, I’d just rather something less marginal than Foster. I’m curious if the club knew VdW had plans to leave again prior to it being announced, perhaps we could’ve found an alternative. Can’t imagine Foster is at the low end of the wage scale, too.

Still played better than Kelly last week.
I believe this is called ‘damning with faint praise’

Jesus wept, that was painful! And I think it’s pretty clear that anyone who thought Ricky F**king Foster is the answer to our abysmal depth at full back, was very very wrong. Looked off the pace, hopefully just needs some time to get used to the team etc. Grivosti the best of a bad bunch again, looks like he could develop into a quality centre half. 10 goals in 3 games, WTF?!

One of the most inept defensive performances I’ve ever seen, how can you have so many players in the box and still leave the opposition unmarked? An absolute shambles from start to finish, Ross Stewart the only one that gets close to pass marks from me. Vigurs at his petulant worst in the middle, no graft, no guile.

Can't make this tomorrow as the team I play for has a play-off final on the same day, so no doubt both my team and county will lose to make this the worst weekend of all time.

Pretty embarrassing for Scottish football that this is a top flight fixture to be honest!
I always appreciate these kind of comments from fans of the big teams like *checks notes* St Mirren?!

Had to be an ex-County player (though he didn't play much) to score the winner against us.
Was fairly likely, since they had 4 ex-County players playing yesterday, was bound to be one of them!
Well, bar Fox, obvs

Viewed at close quarters, it seems to me that releasing his energy with anger and without a thought to consequences is a thing that Iain would be better served if he could control.

I'll always remember Kenny for two things:
Tackling the ball into the net away at Killie
Making Leigh Griffiths shite it
Ah that was magnificent, Griffiths went scurrying away with his tail between his legs like a scolded puppy. I’ll forgive all the dodgy moments at LB for this

I’m surprised Graham was first choice to take that, knew we were destined to not score when Gardyne clipped the post too. Id have taken a point before the game, no problem, kind of gutted with it after watching that though!

Who are Hearts going to play at left back? Be interesting to see how Mullin gets on against them.
Id imagine Hearts will be thinking the same about Sean Kelly...

County to go with a balls out 442, with two wingers away at Tynecastle.
Funny you should say that....

Obviously, Stewart’s goalscoring exploits are amazing and long may it continue! But the thing that moistened my gusset the most yesterday was his workrate, getting in about the Hamilton players on the ball, especially the way he nicked it before crossing for McKay’s goal. Just what we need!

Defiant officially closing down. A shame, they’ve put out some really decent stuff over the past few years.
Sad news, they put over a lot of independent guys and girls who had maybe been overlooked by more casual fans. Also managed to get some proper names in at times, like Cody or Rey. One of my favourite storylines in all wrestling was the Conners/Hendry one from the early days of WCPW, a proper slow burning heel turn followed by absolute mayhem when he turned. Outstanding.

As a Flyers fan, I have some concerns about them repeating the mistakes of last year! Their business hasn’t been particularly impressive over the summer. They were linked with a couple of high-profile players, but none of it turned out to be true.
so, our biggest bit of business is giving a SEVEN YEAR contract to a second line centre, when I thought Nolan Patrick was really growing into that role. Although if he’s on the third line, at least he can link up with the sublime Lindblom. We’ve picked up a pair of 32-year-old D-men, Niskanen is pretty good and I think would link up well with Provarov, Braun im a bit ‘meh’ about. He’s obviously an upgrade over the departed Macdonald or the god-awful Hagg, but I’ll be extremely disappointed if his signing stunts the emergence of either Morin or Phil Meyers *swoon*. Also, we’ve re-signed Brian Elliot, who will hopefully be mostly mentoring Carter Hart and playing in double headers etc. And that’s pretty much it. Kinda disappointed to see Gudas traded, thought he got a lot of undeserved criticism.

£25 quid to get in?!?
A small price to pay to bask in the glory of The Global Energy Arena(TM) and it’s fine array of sweary pensioners screaming at every sideways pass

Speaking of Gardyne, his starting XI video is splendid. It’s better than Vigurs’ weird ‘sexy’ side-eye thing he does, makes me feel like hes coming on to me

I wouldn’t mind seeing Grivosti tried out in the Draper role if they aren’t going to replace anyone.
Well they tried him at RB for seemingly no reason, so might as well give it a go!
Ive been quite impressed with what I’ve seen of Spittal, considering the tutting and sucking of teeth going on from the Partick fans when we signed him. We seem to have a fair pile of forwards at the moment, though. Was surprised to see another come in, especially since he’s not a huge departure from what we have already! Interesting to see if anyone else leaves, even on loan?

Is Grivosti really our second best right back? I think we still need to strengthen at full back, although I’m not sure if we’ll see any more business in this window? I liked the sound of the kid from Newcastle we were tenuously linked with a couple of weeks ago?

Hainault avi, talk of Lawson... are you my long lost sibling?
*sigh* Big André, if only he could’ve got past Grant Munro, might not have ended up in the bottom end of the German leagues. Interesting to note that Kaiserslautern are in the 3rd tier of German football nowadays, where St Andre has been plying his trade.

Just been watching the Brechin highlights, Vigurs’ diagonal ball in the build up to the second is a peach, Pirlo-esque.... or if you want really classy, Lawson-esque
