Max Johnston is a 100% improvement on SOD …… not sure how he can play today do Cove not have a game tomorrow
Get the boy back down the road and get him into the team

60mins in and we’ve emptied the bench … … interesting Barry Maguire playing centre-half

Only change at H/T Oxborough for Kelly … … not surprised thought Kelly was at fault for 2 of the goals

HT 3-0 and that Spurs team is way above anything we’ll come up against in the SPFL apart from the 2 arse cheeks
Trying to play possession football but got absolutely nothing up front

Been watching too much World Cup fullbacks taking bye kicks to the goalkeeper ………… get that to feck

Why ?????? If we’ve got cash to throw about it should be used to get a decent centre half and midfielder in …… not on a 3 or 4 day jolly to Greece.

I assumed that Kelly would go in Jan or the summer and the boy they signed under cover of darkness in the Summer was here to be his replacement...
Think that is the plan …… by all accounts he is a very good keeper and unlike Kelly at 6ft + will be able to come for cross balls

VAR will not change the ineptitude of the officials up here
Shite refs a are still shite refs wether you have VAR or not

Any player that catches someone just below the knee and racks his studs down their shins knows exactly what their doing
Straight red everyday of the week

Not fussed about VAR one way or the other … Collum, Clancy and Walsh will still be as shitty as ever !!!!!
All that we can ask for and expect is consistency …… but I’m afraid we’re a long way from that after some of the decisions on Saturday

Scott Burns' Express piece last week suggested that there were a few options that we wanted to "sound out" which gave the impression that we had at least one candidate in mind who may not apply but we'd like to speak to.

He has been involved in professional football for over 20 years, and been a youth team coach for the last 4, so he does have some experience behind him.
Not so sure that he was the coach … … He was head of the academy which involves a lot more than coaching.

Been wondering for a while what is happening and when the plans for Dalziel park were going to come together, but all gone very quiet.
Dalziel Park is a pipe dream ……… it is run by Trustee’s whose prime objective is to look after its own interests.
What have they got to gain with getting into bed with Motherwell ????The money they could make by just selling some of the land to a developer !!!!

I'd imagine the club are going to be actively trying to sell Kelly and Fox doesn't seem 'match fit' let's just say.
Correct ……… think that was always the plan. The new keeper has been in the Norwich academy since he was 14 and is highly thought of. He has played for England at U16, U17 and U19 levels. He got a bad injury 2 years ago and missed the whole season and spent last year on loan at Barnet. Considering he is competing with Tim Krull and Bryan Gunn can see why he wants to move on.

See we have entered the reserve league for next year. Only 9 sets of fixtures mind you.
Better than last seasons 0 fixtures at least the boys will get some game time

If you can't trust a manager with a transfer budget, he shouldn't be at the football club. There's still time to change it, get rid of the c**t.
The managers transfer budget was spent on the pitch.
He was told to reduce the wage bill from last seasonSo we end up with what we’ve got Spittal McGinn and Morris

And there you have it….Rangers signing his brother with the hope it entices Bailey may give them the edge. Would be great if we could keep him…but I guess that just became a long shot
Only got 2 words to say to the boy “Paul Slane”

Duffy has got our 3 centre half’s on toast ………

2 centre half’s at the back post and neither of them came anywhere near winning the ball John McGinn ??? Be better with a headless chicken !!!

As for Davis, said when chatting to mates earlier, I'd pass. Ye he's class and he's defo an improvement on what we have but I am always wary of old guys stepping down. Think Brian McClair scarred me.Take it you don’t remember what Davie Cooper brought to the club

I suspect he's been given some metrics, he's exceeded them, so he's feeling (correctly) he's done his job... Accepts it wasn't perfect.
(Perhaps 'entertaining football' can't be quantified so it wasn't asked for )
Think Alexander’s objectives from the board since he arrived at the club IMO would have been
2020/2021
Don’t get relegated
2021 /2022
minimum - Don’t get relegated
target - Top 6 finish
Stretch - European place
Super Stretch - Win a domestic cup
So since he arrived Alexander has more than meet the targets that were set for him and IMO he will be in line for a nice end of season bonus. Also agree that playing entertaining football ( not guaranteed to win football matches) would not come into the equation. It may do next season but the main objective for the club will not to get relegated.

It’s a non-starter of an argument from Burrows. Fans aren’t angry because the games been moved from Sunday to Saturday, fans are angry because the fixtures been changed at 4 days notice against the interest of the fans / club.
Surely it was Sky who gambled on Rangers getting knocked out of Europe so selected it for the Sunday slot. If the SPFL made the call knowing fine well Rangers had a decent chance of progression then it’s utter incompetence, not exactly surprising though. All the top 6 games are on Sunday with ours being a 12 o clock kick off ……… So the fault lies with SPFL not Sky …… arseholes who couldn’t plan a pish up in a brewery

Mid February likely to be back in training …. … be lucky if we see him back this season
