Jordie Clasie was right about United, just try and shell it long to the big man up top.

Will be interesting to see how many Rangers fans get into the West stand on Saturday. Seems to be more than a few that have purchased tickets.
I wouldn't be as annoyed but they pretty much come in with their sash on, nae shame.

If the home kit is just the same design as the away it will be pretty disappointing, IMO. With these kits being 'bespoke', there would have surely been an opportunity to do something a bit more imaginative.
On that, it amazes me how late we are every year to release the kits.

Not keen.
Think that stripe down the middle needs to be more prominent, or not there at all. As the stripe is there It would make sense to have a symmetrical collar too. The sleeve sponsor looks really badly done, you would have thought that they could have dropped the square and just went with their logo.
Hopefully, it grows on me.

I disagree, the subs were right.... unfortunately Shinnie didn't work out.
Aye?
What did Montano do? What did Panayiotou do? Metal comment.

Omeonga had played very well and Shinnie went on to struggle when taking over the position. The logic was that while moving Shinnie there would reduce central midfield stability, he might provide more progressive passes than Omeonga. He didn't and the crumbling of the centre mid platform reduced the full backs' chances to get forward effectively. So a definite error with hindsight. The Sibbald substitution was probably correct. He had likely ran out of gas given it was his first start in almost 3 months. Montaño offers pace, attacking thrust and aerial presence which could've worked out well.
100%. Unfortunately Shinnie was awful in CM. Bad subs.

Waste of a wage signing Lawless IMO, already pretty stacked in that position. Saying that it has never stopped Martindale previously.

Martindale subbing the boy on and off - mental. Crush someone’s confidence.

Yeah Livi North isn't too far from the stadium. It's about a 15/20 minute train to get to Haymarket and another 5 to Waverly. Really easy and convenient, think it's meant to be a train every 20 minutes going to Edinburgh
Scotrail strikes still impact Sunday services until next month I think. Best to check their site.

No more players in unless more go out.
The fact Davie knew we needed another CB and instead signed a left back, shows that there aren't many cbs out there that we can afford on our budget. Not really sure I buy that excuse. But even if that was the case then we should have spent the budget better. My only real concern is the defence this season, however one of my other concerns is the fact that we have a defence and midfield that we don't actually know our best line up, with many players that are all very similar.

We will get bodied in the league if we don't get another CB in the door. Our best CB is a better RB than CB and Kelly looks like he might give away the most fouls in the league.

Do you not play in mostly yellow anymore? When/why did this happen?
Think its a multitude of things. In the lower divisions we could only get templates and these were most definitely yellow rather than amber. Like Joma’s previous efforts. They were rank and not Livi colours so weren't very well received. At least you know what your getting with black.
There was also an issue a couple years ago, Martindale decided he wanted a white home kit, which was nearly released until fans heard about it and complained, they then spun this as a rouse and that it was always going to be the away kit, and so they swapped what would have been the black away kit with the white home kit.1 -

Aye these are shanners.
Really shoddy If there is actually a colour difference between the crest and the other amber accents.

Poor efforts. Blows my mind that they couldn't colour match the crest with the accents.

Quite happy with the swap if im honest. JET on his day was very good, but that wasnt every week. I thought him playing changed how we played as a team. At 3 years Anderson has a bit of resale value too.

Absolutely gutted to see some of the longer serving players leave, however the time was probably right. Hopefully get a chance for a decent send-off in the future.
Interesting not to see mention of Poplatnik leaving. Was excited about him and showed early promise, done hee-haw in recent performances though.
If we can get Anderson and Callaghan in along with one of two at the back then im not too worried. Guthrie obviously will be a big miss, but hes not been anything like the player of last season.

Longridge isn't good enough, debatable if he was even good enough for us in League 1.
Two and a half years? Mental.

We are in so much trouble.
JET and Bartley need dropped. Two passengers. Lawson should be starting in Bartley's place and Serrano should be playing left back. We don't have a solution up top, but I can tell you its definitely not JET, I'd pretty much rather anyone else be playing up there at the moment.
We are so soft in defence. A continuing theme for the past couple of years is how absolutely shite we are at set pieces, both attacking and in defence.
The substitutions are absolutely baffling, but this season I've come to expect nothing less.
At this point we just need to hope that Hamilton persist with Rice for at least a couple of more months or we will be going down automatically.

I also wonder where Lawson will fit into the team. I do like him as a player. It seemed like some of his best football was played while overlapping coming from deep. Devlin seems to have that position sewn up - I do wish he'd more often find a man with his crosses though!
Lawson is definitely a CM rather than a right back, gave me the fear a couple times when he was playing RB. Devlin has been decent, crossing seems pretty horrendous though.

Yep, he described himself as strong and fast but he looks pretty slow tbh.
Serrano looking decent for us at LB thoughSerrano very much a punt into the box kinda player and im not against that, just surely thats not what he was taught in Monaco. Callum Browns infatuation with Alan Forrest is wild.

Aberdeen looked brutal against St Johnstone. That said, they will still beat us.

Happy with the Hamilton signing. From the bits and pieces I saw had a really good season last year. we are going to need three keepers, cant keep wheeling Maley out of retirement, and Im assuming he's a fairly cheap option.
