We’ve already beaten Stranraer away from home 3-0 under Ray...

Ray would have won both games comfortably. Next Saturday away to East Fife is the first real test for M&M.

With that logic, we beat Dumbarton 6-0 but then scraped an undeserving 1-1 draw only weeks later. I wouldn’t be too sure of any points v Stranraer if he was still in charge

Working this weekend, so won't manage this game. Pity, as I've never been to the new Falkirk Stadium. I was at Brockville for the last league meeting between the sides, a 3-1 Falkirk win in 1997. Had a VIP day courtesy of a Falkirk director, and ended up this sports bar where the players went after the game (unfortunately I was the chauffer that day). I remember big Kevin James getting presented for man of the match. Falkirk wore a chequered Le coq sportif shirt then.

Those were the days. Unfortunately the Falkirk stadium is nothing like Brockville. It’s a modern piece of wasteground with no atmosphere or any character. Its a place where football goes to die

Neither team can claim to have done enough to win that. Given last week, it was encouraging to see an organised, committed, well balanced side. Defence looked solid, wide players did well, and strikers did well with limited chances. Guys in midfield worked hard and did well, but I still think that is the glaring weakness offensively. We just offer nothing in a creative sense from there which is making it very difficult to create chances. Thomson didn't really work in there but I'm at least encouraged that Murray recognises we have a need for some attacking drive in there.

Not entirely convinced that is the system to get us through the season but I think we have to just stick with it for a few weeks and see what happens. Perhaps once players settle into the system we will see some better attacking combinations.

Falkirk looked poor, constantly tried and failed to get through the middle (one exception being the chance in the first half), seemed like most attacks ended by them being forced wide to a full-back who would swing in a cross from about 40 yards out which, even if they won the header, were never going to be able to do anything with. They are going to face that performance every week in this league, I can totally see how Clyde beat them last week and how they haven't scored away from home yet. You can be certain that continuing to play such a narrow system and punting balls in the box from deep is not going to work in this league.

f**k McKinnon and give this guy the job. He’s spot on

Having seen us play both Falkirk and Raith now, I'd more than fancy raith to win the league but they are bottle jobs if seasons gone by are anything to look into. Falkirk just didn't seem to be up to much. Thought gomis/Gomez (however its spelt) was good for them but that's it really.

Grant was an absolute class act once again and the way we set up today was great. Offered a decent looking defence and when Rankin is back in front of the defence itll be better

Falkirk are the biggest bottlers I know

Do you think someone can tell the ref the rules of the game?

Good win for Clyde, well deserved. Weird to hear a support chanting for a rapist though.

You know it’s bad when you have to resort to time wasting criticisms. Like we wouldn’t do exactly the same if we were winning against the league favourites.

PS that shithouse of a ballboy dived

The exSevco dud who couldn't keep hens out a midden was spoken to by Plod after the match for striking a child. Doubtless some fans rate him but he's one of many Arabs receiving a wedge from Falkirk courtesy of McKinnon.

He’s a scummy *** b*****d and the Falkirk support were a disgrace for the way they reacted bullying a wee boy. Middle aged women  behind me screeching wit hatred to what looked like a 12 year old , get a grip

is it for EW top 3? Think Clyde will be a saucy bet EW

All systems go with pressure wi Falkirk to win the League Think that’s the best situation for the Rovers to have have a ‘fight’ mentality push. McKinnon is all about him, prob why he’s singed players he’s all ready sweet talked. Falkirk will be vulnerable away from home and Raith got a wee comfort for the experience wi being down 2 season. Forfar, East Fife too. Ain’t no easy away days. Am sure Rovers record wi Clyde is honking so am predicting them as our bogey team and Airdrie for most points for. a would of took Cammy Gill for half season loan as part of the Pars taking our 2 top players. Would benefit both parties and individual

Falkirk will be strong away. It’s at home we are stinking because the Falkirk stadium can get toxic very quickly if things aren’t going our way
