Decided to take this game in. Cupar the better team first half but not much in it. Doune missed a chance early on before Cupar came into it and had a few chances but was 0-0 at HT. Second half Cupar started brighter and scored a controversial goal. I’d say 9 times out 10 at least the foul is given on the keeper with the opposition player challenging for a high ball. After that it was one way traffic with the Cupar no.9 scoring a great hat trick. Overall I’d say Cupar looked a better, fitter team but I would never have thought it would be 5-0 at HT.
took it in also, for me the first goal is 100% a foul, does it change the tone and how it goes the rest of the game? Who knows, but as you say was all Cupar the second half. Striker scored and absolute worldie and then rinsed the defence and cooly slotted by the goalie for another. Can see why he’s in the Scotland squad. Didn’t see that scoreline happening at 0-0 HT but it was thoroughly deserved on the second half performance

Some tasty draws will come up now with some of the teams remaining.
Last 16, as of today:
Shortlees
Mauchline
Cowie Thistle or Sandys
Wishaw Wycombe Wanderers
Drumchapel United
Doune Castle
Glenburn Miners
Annbank
Cupar Hearts
Gartcosh
Giffnock North or Balgonie Scotia
Garrowhill Thistle
Greig Park Rangers
Castlemilk OBC
Steins Thistle
Greenock HSFPs
I agree. Standard of teams very good and potential for some cracking games. Who’s peoples favourites? I think castlemilk obc will be fancying their chances this year, very good team, then you’ve got last years winners and runners up wanting to go again, Greenock looking good. Very interesting

I heard castlemilk obc were trying to get in the caley? Although it’s only hearsay, if anyone knows any better? Shaping up to be a cracking league next season in both divisions anyway

What we thinking so far for the leagues after so many games? Dunipace flying in the first division, look the team to beat, couple teams not far off them though. But I think the prem looks like it could be anyone from a number of teams!! Looks an exciting season

Because they were cheated out of the opportunity to win the Central Scottish League.
Bannockburn defo gave lesmahagow the old “you’ve stopped our chance at the league, so we’ll stop yours” and just not played the game

St Pats applied for the WOSFL?

Castlemilk will definitely add a bit of quality into that premier league, but I don’t know enough about the SAFL teams joining to say if any would have much of an impact or not.

Doune v Dalziel off due to Dalziel forfeiting the tie, according to Doune's twitter page. Surely that puts Doune 3 points ahead now on level games?
Yeah it will, both doune and EKYM won last night too, so 3 points ahead going into last game. I think the fixtures are doune/Cambria and EKYM/St Joes. Would imagine both getting a win on final day, although doune only need 1 point to win the league

Very exciting. EK already with the points on the board and bit of catching up to do for doune. Would be some season if doune win it after being promoted last year, league and east of Scotland cup double. How many get relegated? If it’s only 2 I don’t think there will be much hope for the 2 there the now! If it’s 3 then lots to play for to avoid that last relegation spot

Semi final number 2 this Friday between Alva and Steins, for a place in the final v Doune Castle! What we thinking on this weekends tie, then the result of the final?

I believe they are playing each other this weekend
Maybe not now with this whole coronavirus, SFA suspended all football indefinitely! That mean these games will be off?

Took in game last night. Think 1-1 was a fair result. Not many clear chances. Couple good saves from both keepers, especially the penalty save from big McGuiness. Think the fallin subs changed the game, Kyle imrie immediately changing the game. And even after the red card I think fallin still maybe just the better team. Some cracking penalties in the shoot out too. Just a shame it's an absolute lottery. All the best to cambusbarron for the rest of season and good luck to fallin in the final

After watching this game today surely cambusbarron must fancy there chances Fallin nothing special and had it easy after Braehead had a man sent off (wrongly) after about 20 minutes.
if you think that on a yellow card, u can make a tackle like that and not get a second. You're deluded. Shocking tackle

Very close m8..gonna go for clackmannan tho..but no surprise see it go other way
Have to agree. Seen clackmanna a few times this season and look very good. Wouldn't surprise me if they upset a few and win it! But as you know anything can happen in one off cup games

Sandys 5-4 braehead some game for the neutral end to end stuff
Two absolute gangs. Sandys were brutal, braehead chucking the lead 3 times, goalie having two howlers. Thought the midfielder for braehead should have had a second booking for punching the flag away in the first half. Braehead maybe feel hard done by but you can't chuck that many leads and expect to win things, not good enough. And if Sandy's are the highest standard in LEAFA, then it leaves a lot to be desired. Thought they were very poor. Sandys side lines embarrassing as well. Hounding the ref, arguing with players, with each other. But aye, very entertaining game for the neutral it was

Took in harestanes v Fallin yesterday. Harestanes edging it 1-0, fallin maybe feel a bit hard done by, don't think they deserved to lose it in the end. Harestanes a top top side with some cracking players though and could well be league winners at the end of season! Although I thought the ref had a shocking game. Poor for both sides, no consistency in his decisions, changing his mind on decisions

Braehead seem to fancy themselves and see themselves as a bit of a ticket these days, no one fancy them for it? Doing well innl Scottish too. Personally think fallin go onto win it now, but never know. Football is a mad game
