Not convicted of anything. Lost a claim for damages at a civil court where the burden of proof is substantially lessened from a criminal court.
The Crown Office clearly felt there was insufficient evidence to gain a conviction or they'd have served a complaint or indicted him.
You need to be sure of your facts before branding someone a "convicted rapist".

Well he sure bullied our defense today such a disappointing performance too many long balls poor defending and some strange decisions from the management ... I no these games happen but felt it was back to the let's hit long balls down the side. They were much more street wise and shows we do need a couple of signings if we have the resources.

Definitely a contender but at least you could never say he was boring. He'd either be comically superb or a comical disaster with nothing in between (and usually a disaster). Would trip over the ball with every touch he had four games in a row and then chip the keeper from outside the box in the fifth game. Box office.

That's good news. Gomis ran the show for them in the last game. Falkirk have some players who are tidy on the ball but who don't have any penetration and while Gomis was guilty of that too, he was by far their best player and the only one who looked capable of creating something.

Goodwillie is obviously too good a player for this level and would obviously be a great signing on the park but f**k signing a convincted rapist no matter how good he is. Some things are more important FFS.

However, we could definitely do with another striker. While we won 4-1 we saw how much we missed Gallagher at Cliftonhill. Smith is a cracking player but isn't going to score every week. Roy is still unconvincing. Carrick is on a brilliant run at the moment but he's never been a traditional goal scorer and regardless, we need more than two strikers we can rely upon to score whenever their on the park anyway.

I think to maintain the push for promotion we do need a decent midfielder and a forward we are doing really well but could struggle certain players got injured...

Speaking of the worst Airdrie player in the last decade, what would everyone's best and worst XI of the last decade be? For me it would look something like:

    Worst -

    Fairley

    Van Zanten Lilley Boateng Malone

    Scullion Faria Devlin Muir

    Keegan Schmidt

With honourable mentions to - Colin Stewart, Lucas Birnstingl, Euen Grant, Kieron Stallard, Marc Warren, Simon Mensing, Joe Gorman, Robert Wilson, Niko Sumsky, Joe Hammill, David Sinclair, Jack Kirwan, Jack McKay and Liam Buchanan.

    Best -

    Hutton

    Bain Gasparotto Lindsay Boyle

    Barr

    Docherty McCord Fraser

    Lister Ryan

With honourable mentions to - Grant Adam (the first time around), Scott Stewart, Stefan Milojevic, Sean Crighton (on this season's form I'd have him in there but he was crap last season and pretty middling before then), Leon McCann, GMS, Bryan Prunty and Iain Russell.

It's been a pretty grim decade hasn't it?

There are a number of Airdrie players who would fit in nicely with the Anne summers products in the advert below!!!

Glad to see your a capital chap and with global warming and rising sea levels, we might be glad to be amongst the highest grounds above them. I do like floodlit Saturdays but it was a wee bit too much water today. It was quite funny to see McCann take out the corner flag and then have the Ref explain to him later on the reason. I remember Scott McKenna kicking the corner flag once at Firhill-that metal pole today poses a real problem. If divine intervention helped today then this agnostic might think again,

    This is true lol

I thought Millar was really good -cracking recovery tackle on one of them. High energy matters in all Leagues but more so here. McKay does all the dirty stuff but he does lack the ability of a killer pass. Very strong team effort and looking forward (for once) to Broadwood. Might be biggest travelling support on League business.

Hopefully good vocal following next week help the team to keep the momentum going not so long ago we would have been drawing or even losing games like today when not been at our best. Manager sounded bit flat think he has man flu which we all know is a terrible illness.

Cheers was asked to get some for a guy that normally goes but there is a Xmas bash on at Balmoor on Sat night so could be a few of our regulars missing as doing both not an option. A good set up at Airdrie with the lounge at the ground fine. Our programme is now done online but is free to all as was deemed uneconomic to produce a option in print.

Don't want to start rumours still I herd that god is so impressed by the facilities and the warm hearted fans he is an Airdrie fan

For the first time yesterday he actually burst into the box but overstretched which made it look like a "going down easy" scenario. The Ref gave him the benefit then. I wonder if we ran out of ideas because we had all of the ball,   11 against 10 , rather than counter attacks. For a laugh I would move him back to CB for Fordyce and bring back Nat who is as slow as Conroy.

Now there is a midfield battle worth paying to see lol

So let me get this right.

    Both Rovers Reds are clear

    Airdrie’s red is dodgy

Handball at the end is a stonewaller

And Airdrie were cheated out of that game?

Also, the rule is in place that if he makes absolutely no attempt for the ball whatsoever, then it’s a red as it becomes malicious. That’s exactly what happened.

The ref was dodgy however that was not why the diamonds lost we were not decisive enough did not plays as well as we have in recent weeks but long way to go and couple of game ahead where we should win while the second and third best teams in the league play each other next week.... wont be much in it Falkirk play some nice football Raith possibly tougher to break down

Hope that Roberts is not injured from that assault by Davidson. He was limping at the end. I agree another driving midfielder would be good and McKay should have been taken off today rather than Millar. I am not convinced that Hawkshaw  is enough of a threat. I think Fordyce will be out for 2 games unless we successfully appeal. Does Kerr come back in to CB and Nat must be thinking his days are numbered even as a sub. It was a miserable day but the time did pass by really quickly!

I agree with you in all points. With McKay while a long through option can be good and we have scored more from them than our corners it was way to predictable yesterday and I didn't see much more that the throws he brought to the team yesterday.
