Thistle For Ever working Group update As previously announced, both Thistle for Ever and the PTFC Trust have been invited to be part of a Working Group to make recommendations to both the boards of Partick Thistle Football Club and Three Black Cats setting out how the club can move forward as a community-owned club.Acceptance of these recommendations would trigger the transfer of shares from Three Black Cats to the appropriate vehicle considered most appropriate for this purpose.
A key part of this process will include engagement with Thistle fans on as wide a basis as possible so that the proposals can clearly be seen to have their approval. The members of the core Working Group are:
Craig DunnPaul Goodwin
Pauline Graham
Allan Heron
Tom Hosie
Russel McPhate
Keith Rarity
Gordon Ross
Elaine Sibbald
Ian Wright
This group is made up of fans associated with Thistle for Ever, PTFC Trust and others who have indicated an early interest in getting involved in this process. Please note that there are no Directors of the club included on the Working Group to avoid any conflict of interest as they will have a role in approving the recommendations arising.
The initial meeting of the Working Group will take place this week where we will firm up on future activities (which will include opportunities for other fans to get involved). However, we do anticipate that we will be issuing a questionnaire for fans to complete, with the intention of having a public meeting in January which will both share the results from this along with a wider discussion of what community ownership will mean.
A further announcement will be made as soon as possible after the meeting.Allan Heron on behalf of the Working Group
Thank you to everyone who helped so far.

Paul Goodwin - Sure Stirling fans booted him out their club no?
Tom Hosie - What is his role, throwing toys out the pram and crying in the corner when someone disagrees with him lol2 -

Does this mean the New City Capital deal is off the table?
No, it means we have sold the club to Colin Weir and we are gonna sell it again on Friday to New City Capital....

I don’t often bother with midweek fitba chat shows, but last midweek I heard McCall say that if his current squad continued to improve as they had since he came in there would be “few, if any” incoming signings in January.
That’s quite a big “if” I suppose, and gives him a bit of leeway, but unless he’s saying one thing in public and another to his board it looks Like you guys may be disappointed.
PS - “Bunter”?? Crap patter.
Think he is just doing the same management speak that Caldwell did. You need to praise the crap you have so they don't down tools and can occassionally grind out results to keep within touching distance. Then come transfer window P45 time

We've some amount of shite in the squad. Hopefully McCall will move on most of them.I cannot even begin to think of more than maybe 3/4 players i would keep from the squad tbh

Play Off position this year methinks, unless the Jobby can manage to get in at least 6/7 new signings in January!
Wtf has happened to WAT btw? Is it time to start a new forum for Thistle where we can rant away?0
