  1. Classy player, his talent is obvious, had a great start to his loan but went a bit anonymous when Slater came back from injury because the two of them very similar. Now he will likely inherit the Slater role he may well flourish.
  2. I noticed that too as I went past the stadium the floodlights were taken down. So I guess Finn Robson is the good news to balance the naming rights.
  3. This came out of nowhere! Just walked past the stadium and it says Alpha Projects Stadium Home of Forfar Athletic. We've gone and sold our naming rights! No stand for David McGregor more likely it'll be Hunters the Jewellers Stand.
  4. Well it appears a resolution has been made. Pendle catalogue, boring. White - meh. Watch the club go and blow us away with an amazing new away kit now!
  5. Exactly, we will be in navy for everly league match with exception of (I think) Stranraer and Peterhead so when we play them away, white will be fine.
  6. Maybe they were struggling to choose between which off the shelf white Pendle shirt to go for.
  7. No new shirts and no more names on shirts. Maybe next year we'll ditch squad numbers and go back to 1 - 11.
  8. Looks like the club have been doing a bunch of new player interviews. Wonder when they'll get Ray to do an interview...
  9. Was brilliant against Montrose and Lochee. We should be focusing our excitement on this, not on Ray's wee trip to Gloucestershire.
  10. Do you think the whole board were in favour of the conference league or just Mr Donald? I know which I'm more inclined to think
  11. I assumed they just haven't printed the names yet. Don't think any sponsors are changing, but could be wrong.
  12. While you're at it, let's bring Scott Robertson back. He was the genius behind Irvine and Harkins. Oh, and Foxy for good measure.
  13. If that's the case then we just have to hope Stevie Fallon is going to massively over-achieve!
  14. I don't think it's necessarily McNally hype. It's just the most realistic option available for us, as he's someone with plenty of experience and would likely accept the offer if the Forfar board approached him.
  15. I agree with quite a few folk on here. We knew Ray wouldn't stay long-term but I definitely didn't expect him to ditch us before the season even started! McNally is the obvious choice. It's him or a risky newbie and we know how successful Malcolm and Irvine were as inexperienced managers.
  16. Guess I failed my geography class! Thanks for the correction.
  17. Since we're mostly assuming Ray will ditch Angus for London. Who's likely to replace him? Will Stevie Fallon be given the interim job or will they move quickly to hire someone?
  18. The Linn move explained. Makes sense and good for him. https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/sport/football/4507240/arbroath-bobby-linn-comes-home-to-lochee-united/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social
  19. Bobby Linn has gone to Lochee United. I had wondered if he might have come to us after leaving the Lichties. Instead we signed another former Arbroath player in Skelly. We'll see how he gets on for us.
  20. Looking at the latest photos of the boys in training. Whatley appears to have the 10 shirt and Morrison the 6 shirt. Not really that insightful, just an observation.
  21. Perhaps Ray is implementing Johan Cryff Total football where every player can play in every position
  22. Hmm, Hutchi could probably do the Hutton role, but with more pace and agility.
  23. Hutchison is a great signing. If we did play a back 3 of Hutchi, Whyte & Allan that looks really strong. As with @Loon From Outta Toonsays, it makes my tinfoil hat theory of Munro up top look more likely Slightly more realisticly, Ross played up top in a 4-4-2 occasionally last season, so whether Ray thinks of playing him there, not in a 4-4-2 but perhaps as a lone deep lying forward? However, I think he looked happiest at 10 last season.
  24. Hoping for lots of trialists as we currently don't have enough players to field a team and bench.
  25. I agree. Not surprised he's gone to Montrose though, higher level and higher pay. I think that our only striker will be some unknown youth player on loan from one of the Dundee teams. A gamble that could work but more than likely be underwhelming.
