  1. Here's a question, purely to generate discussion. With Slater off to the coast. Who will be captain for next season? Darren Whyte was the Vice Captain last season. However, I think it'll be Andy Munro or maybe Whatley.
  2. I noticed that too. The lad who had an anonymous trial with us, 3 years later joins a championship side!
  3. Wasn't aware Ray had a personal matter to attend over the last month. With Stenny happy to splash the cash, I guess that'll make them the bookies favourite. Imagine that, Matty Aitken winning the league!
  4. I wonder if Forfar actually pursued his signature or if it was only a rumour generated by us fans?
  5. Awesome looking kits, I do like option 2 (test card design) but option 3 or 4 seem more likely. However, no chance the club would depart with Pendle and Pendle will never make a bespoke design
  6. Exactly, that's the kind of intrigue that drives engagement.
  7. I believe there is a fine balance. Don't need a full on reveal video but subtle hints or clues are good so fans can start guessing.
  8. True, the club haven't quite got the hang of good social media posts, yet. They're improving but not as engaging or funny as some other clubs.
  9. It's part of Ray's masterplan. We won't sign a striker because Andy Munro will be playing up top for is.
  10. They are glorified friendlies but the fact we have two derbies makes them more interesting than Dundee at Dens Park. Cowdenbeath, is a fairly optimistic win. St Mirren a thumping. However, we probably will lose to Montrose and Arbroath but the fact they are derbies means it's less easy to predict, especially if we get behind the team. The old 12th man adage.
  11. Do you think the board are looking at this thread? If so, choose one of these, please! And also vote NO to the conference league.
  12. I loved the Gold kit, because it was unique, although I agree we were dismal in that. The tangerine was always fun. So, I'd be all for an away kit that is an "out there" colour. However, I feel like the image I shared will be chosen
  13. Noticed the new kits thread is up. I'm guessing this year it'll be the away kit that will change, so I'm guessing this will be it, as it's the only new design on Pendle. Let's see if I'm right.
  14. As long as they're not staying quiet because they are in favour and don't want the fans to riot, knowing we're against it. Surely not!
  15. Nah! Let's create the hype that Sanny is coming out of retirement for us
  16. Is he not off to Stirling? Thought I heard somewhere. He would be the dream
  17. Quite a few of the notable free agent strikers have been snapped up. What options are there for Ray?
  18. With Smokie signing on. He definitely needs to kick on this season and get more playing time than last. Whatley sounds like the Hutton replacement. Matty Allan comes with good reviews so he should be solid. Interesting who Ray will play at CB between Munro, Allan and a returned to fitness Whyte.
  19. Wasn't the stand technically the Graham Pest Control Stand for a season, or was it only sponsored when Mr Graham was chairman? Either way the McGregor Stand sounds a lot better.
  20. Baino left due to travelling and work commitments. No way he'd come to Forfar again.
  21. You're correct it's too early but for me going on absolutely nothing but vibes I think it could be a battle between Forfar, Stenny & Dumbarton. I imagine Peterhead & Clyde would like to consider themselves in the fight. My speculation will almost inevitably change the closer we get to the opening day of the 23/24 L2 season.
  22. Now with all teams confirmed for League Two. Are/will Forfar be favourites?
  23. My memory may have it wrong but I think Frankie Devine was one of our development squad. He was mostly a bench filler.
  24. Some turnaround for the lad. Well done to him. Does make me wonder though. Is Matty Aitken is going to be leading the line for Scotland at the 2026 World Cup?
  25. I'd be fine signing Moore, Ross & Kennedy. Moore seems a useful player, seems most comfortable at CM, has played out wide and was LB on Saturday, could become a younger Mark Docherty, good for the bench and filling in for injuries. Ross understandably divides opinion was great for his first 3/4 games (up until his FK) then petered out. I think he didn't like being played out wide and prefers to be behind the striker. Kennedy is fine as backup GK, I would like to see him get around two full matches during preseason friendlies to give us a better idea of his abilities, don't think he's better than Hoban, but an improvement on Sanderson. As for Lewis Milne. I would welcome him back.
