Considine was also posted missing in St Johnstone's early breakaway goal in the 0-1 midweek sh1test a couple of weeks back.
We can't really complain though, as time and again we're left using a centre half as a LB - and the fans have been demanding a more positive attitude in these fixtures. Consi gives everything, and was excellent vs Accies, but will often be the player found wanting when Celtic score. Saying that, it was evident way before Ajer's finish when Celtic turned it over after Consi had got forward that he wasn't getting back - and Edouard's fairly sublime touch knocked the rest of the side off synch completely.
A point would have been nice - but in this fixture it was probably all about how we played - and hearts and minds are likely more positive with a 1-2 defeat on the front foot, rather than a 0-0 having parked the bus.
Agree with all that, he has been very good for long time and has had better matches than McKenna. As for the team hopefully something to bulid from and get something from the tougher matches We'll see how it goes tonight...

He hadn’t a hope in hell of keeping up with Ajer. Have you ever watched the two players?
Ajer wasn't sprinting back, only picked up the pace late on, if Considine had been a few yards away he could have made a challenge or at least put him off but he was jogging back as he's not that slow!
I only seen it live so will have a look again but I called it when Consodine was watching/admiring his cross in that he'd be out of position & we'd lose one.
We'll see if he gets back quicker next time the situation arises if not then fair enough & I will stand corrected

We have been giving our team dogs abuse for sitting back and not going all out to win games. So Considine is busting a gut trying to help to win a match against the best team in the country, and gets dogs abuse. You couldn’t make it up. Celtic are undoubtedly the best counter attacking team in the league, and we were done by a superb piece of skill by Edouard and a great run and pass by Forrest, who I hadn’t noticed was on the pitch up to then. Proud of my team yesterday.
AC cetrainly wasn't busting a gut getting back, he stood and watched his ball in too long and wasn't that far away from Ajer at the HW line but then left trotting back when Ajer put on a spurt and allowed him a touch before firing his shot and AC was still yards away. That said apart from that he has been good of late at CB & the whole team showed great fight so hopefully kick on from now

Not sure about Tin Pot but Hamiltons "fan zone" at the corner flag looked pretty trajic last night

You don't need a captains armband to tell someone to pull their finger out.
But if not the Captain the ones getting moaned at are prob thinking who does he think he is to say that Captain?
Not the big issue but hasn't been great under Lewis

What is it you think the captain does? They're largely used in an off-field capacity. They shake hands first and sometimes get to toss the coin.
Maybe when things are going well but when things go bad or hopefully before is when a good Captain makes a difference, difficult so far away from the middle of things (inc the dugout & Ref/opposing players)

I can see this Aberdeen side sliding back to their usual mediocrity, you need a wee shuffle with the management team imo. Throwing cash at it will not help if you don't have the right people in the right positions.
Which ironically is what Deeks management style is most famous for.
Hernandez to come on at.....left back or even midfield!

Delightful goodbye from the young Glasgow rascals - bricks over the fence into the car park...
One through an AFC U20's players car window apparently, nice.........

I thought Aberdeen played well enough to deserve the point and in fact could have scored a few today.
Pretty low number of attempts though (5?) but some must have been good (not seen the highlights yet)

Good shout, I've seen him there a few times in the stand

Physical 1-1 draw, too much heat building up on McInnes/Doc to not give it a go (surely!)

Wilson confirmed.
Always looked happy to be a sub, body language compared to say Ferguson was night & day. Watch him bang them in now for Salford though

Does boot choice make a difference regarding injuries ie FG or AG boots, most players I see on 4G seem to go with FG boots rather than AG.
Not that you see them normally at that high a level but I think Copa's would be the worst though, rubber on rubber.

Have heard plenty good things about him. Have only really seen him in highlights but he's always looked good. Size is going to be an issue with the current manager though.
I've seen a good few reserve/U18 matches of late but yeah he wouldn't look out of place in a u14's/15's match height/bulk wise but can change direction so fast & is nice and attacking
Probably the exact opposite player to Cambell actually!

Connor Barron looks VERY good in the U20's, hopefully the next to break through.
