  1. I say mighty......... I mean currently underperforming. Anyone big game for us this week we host  Annan Athletic, a team we have a decent home record against.

Predictions etc etc. Going with a 2-1 City win, if we don't win that's the title race over in my opinion, actually not opinion I'd say its a nailed on certainty. Hopefully Annan bring a few up always a respectful bunch, I'll see if the bowling club is open to accommodate away fans as our supporters bar at Ainslie is booked out for hospitality this weekend. If it is open I'm sure they won't have a problem with it and it's only a few minutes away from the ground and it'll be good to see you there.

Was thinking about attending an Edinburgh City game soon. Any recommendations for pubs close to Ainslie park?
    Thanks.

We're quite nomadic when it comes to pre match pints due to Ainslie Parks location. We used to use the social club then get a taxi, lately we've been meeting in Town for a couple then heading down or the bowling club. I second what the guys above have said. If you want to avoid the rugger crowd I fully suggest Queensberry Bowling club if its open, tucked away and only 10 minutes max walk from the ground. We've used that a few times now. The 8 bus takes you right outside it if you pick it up on Broughton Street next to York Place. Queensberry is reasonably priced with a pool table also. If your ever heading to a game let me know and I'm sure you will be welcomed and introduced.

  3. What's QP fans view on Mckinnon being appointed?

Seems to get a lot of stick from fans of other clubs he's been at on social media. Personally I think it's a good appointment for you moving forward. He knows the lower leagues, has the contacts etc and with you guys paying players as of next season it could work. There's a lot worse out there

Albion Rovers have managed to have accies player jack breens loan extended till end of the season

We had him last season. Wasn't too bad. Missed a sitter at Peterhead, when I say sitter I mean absolute sitter that a Sunday league player would've scored.

I've seen better and I've seen worse at City

Only if you can’t find a sex offender or a axe murderer who will fit in better with your current squad.

But have to give credit to the Tory c**t public schoolboy Jonny Court, spends a year doing missionary work in Methil then takes up a role working with sex offenders. At least his parents can tell friends at their dinner parties, their son has a job in the cIty 😂

    Still seething aye?

We started second half a bit better too but despite knocking it about well at times lately and getting a foot in to begin with today we still don’t really look like scoring regularly.

We let them have possession at the back and kept our shape so they were more or less chance less until the goal.

However, even though we defended well enough to get a point once we conceded i never felt we would get one back.

The second was a farce and even though we let it bounce the keeper should have comfortably taken care of it.

Edinburgh did play some good balls into the box and from their point of view it was a good set piece goal but if someone had blocked Henderson from getting a clear run at the ball for his header it was going to finish 0-0.

    Fair assessment of the game.

Fair play to whoever runs your social media putting all that effort in and getting about one response each time. How they could be arsed going on with it I’ve no idea.

Ready for your Derby day hiding on Saturday Muzza?

(Yes it's a Derby and a rivalry to us 😉

  8. I'm back😂

Anyway my take on yesterday. I think Stirling were the better side, yes we retained possesion better but we didn't really offer much in the final third. Couple of moments where Stirling could've easily took the lead and that's something we need to sort out at the back. Had a 90th minute winner written all over it and I'm glad it was us that took it. Couple of key players missing but we can't play like that every week if we expect to go up. Stirling pretty much crowded us out and had our front men sussed out until a couple of their players slipped and Allan Smith had a free shot on goal.

Must commend Stirling on getting loads of local kids down to the game yesterday, few of em gave us stick which was a good laugh and hopefully they return to forthbank and don't follow the old firm!!

Class atmosphere created by us yesterday glad we are getting back to levels of away support like that.
