Reading between the lines thought Ian may be the other one involved, he will be a huge loss financially in particular as think he certainly had the most invested in the club & will change our ability to pay top whack.

Ian Grant would be a miss but think we would have seen an announcement to this effect if true as he would be a main backer surely? Isn't he the one who built the new cafe? I saw Harry Fraser at the last game so not sure what the story is but think we need to know if any big boardroom plans are afoot. Apparently Rodger had a health scare and wanted to take a step back but hold his majority share until another chairman found  but has had to step back in to steady the ship again. I do know that one of the new directors was overheard criticising the manager and players in the bar after a game which did not go down well and won't help matters - surely any grievances from top brass should only be aired behind closed doors and not in public!

Everything points to it being for his benefit financially.

Having seen some of the figures bandied about on the Cove Facebook page it looks like it. Chance for a big pay day before retiring from football and can't blame him for that, just think this reeks of underhanded behaviour by Cove but we'll never know.

Hmm, not sure as saw one of those directors mentioned at the last home game. The two named are the ones the players often mention as being the directors who go to training to feed the players so not sure if it's maybe just that. Interesting times, just hope we can get in a few more names soon.

    Forget Elgin.

If you want comparisons look at Ross County and ICT.

Through the league set up and winners of National trophies.

We've been in the leagues 20 years and had one chance at the Play off in league one.

We have become the very thing the two highland clubs have avoided. Another club stringing along in the lower reaches of the SPFL.

Nah it's at least 3 chances in play offs in league one - once with Ian Stewart, once with Neale Cooper and I think once with Mcinally.

  5. Had heard through the rumour mill that new directors were taken in so that the chairman could take more of a backseat but they've been ruffling a few feathers throughout the club which may include the playing staff. Would be a shame if it's true, maybe struggling on the park but always been a well-run club behind the scenes
