If flares are used so seldom, what’s the problem with not using them at all?

Singing massively helps (creates) the atmosphere - Keep doing it.

Setting off flares can bring a bit to the atmosphere but is technically illegal and can get the club in trouble- stop using them.

Breaking shit does nothing for the atmosphere. Stop it.

Here’s an idea, how about we keep the singing but stop the flares?

That way we still have the atmosphere but we keep within the law and don’t get the club into trouble.

Since the section has been a thing 3 flares have been set off out of how many games? It’s not a regular occurrence, it’s such a tin pot thing to get angry about you don’t see any other club in Scotland’s whole

We don't play in Germany, so I don't see what point you're trying to make here. 

The point is in Germany everyone’s not a a snowflake, this discussion is the most tin pot thing I have ever read, this might be the first time in the last decade that we have had a consistent atmosphere home and away and everyone here is calling for everyone promotion that atmosphere to be banned for setting off a flare and people falling over chairs, it’s ludicrous.

For away games, what is the point in trying provide an atmosphere for supporters that would clearly rather sit and shout at the team for missed passes etc, revert back to how it’s been for the last 3 seasons, unbelievably always seams to be the old bitter 45-elderly age group that seam to have a problem with everything on and off the park.

Have Raith Rovers never had any other players with "big choppers" playing for them? It seems conveniently coincidental that Mendy is the first guy whose knob has become relevant. If you don't take a second to understand why that is then I'm afraid the debate dies here.

Yeah this whole "Mendy doesn't care" thing is a bit weird. By all accounts Benjamin Mendy wasn't all that bothered or offended about Bernardo Silvas' tweet about him, it doesn't mean the tweet wasn't hugely racist.

Whether or not Nando Mendy is offended by it is only really relevant in a private conversation with him. If you're singing something out loud in a public place, wider consideration has to be given. It's 2020, and it's not acceptable.

The chant won’t be stopped unless it comes from the club or sfa or player. And I think is is fair.

Has anyone actually asked Mendy if 1. he does have a massive cock and 2. is he offended by the song.  If the answer to 1. is no or 2. is yes then I would drop the song.

If you look on twitter you can see mendy posting the song on his official Instagram account, and replying to fans signing it, and him also signing it himself adding on “it is fucking massive” at the end aswell.
