  1. We used to give them the North Stand and a section of the Main. I think now with us being fan owned, should the day ever arrive that we get back up then I can’t see that happening now, they would just get the North.
  2. I might be wrong here but haven’t St Mirren in the past ever had Rangers/Celtic fans in the stands at both ends of the ground. As I say I could be wrong.
  3. Are you new to Scottish football, the Old Firm have ran it for as long as I’ve been following it which is over half a century, indeed dearie me if you think anything different.
  4. So you think the other clubs in the top flight are going to vote against the Old Firm, that’s interesting.
  5. I’ve forwarded the emails to my MP, MSP etc etc but I know I’m wasting my time. This will go through because the Old Firm want it to go through and that just the way it is in Scottish football.
  6. Good post and so true, these two clubs will always run Scottish Football and they can basically do what they like.
  7. The fact UEFA allow them in the Champions League, which is the elite of European Football shows how tinpot those running our game are.
  8. I would love us to finish top of the Championship and then tell the Prem to shove it up their arse when they try and force us to dig up a perfectly good pitch, I would rather just stay in the Championship that bend over and take it from the ugly sisters.
  9. I wouldn’t play any song when we score, I would just let the Ultras do their thing, gets the crowd going more than anything over the speakers.
  10. Fantastic, wonder what kind of numbers the board have budgeted for with regards to the managers playing budget.
  11. That is only a recent thing though which I applaud, you used to give up both ends of your ground to them. The teams outwith the arse cheeks in the top flight should, in my opinion fight the case of the lower league clubs more instead of continually kissing the cheeks. It is virtually a closed shop as the money doesn’t trickle down.
  12. I have been impressed by Brown and Vaughan when I’ve seen Raith on TV this season but I wasn’t with either during the two legs of the play offs. I think there is a much bigger gulf between the top flight and championship than between the latter and League One. I suppose when you look at the prize money on offer and the unfair distribution of cash below the top flight then it’s only to be expected.
  13. Minds me of us v Killie in the second leg, County just look bigger and stronger than Raith.
  14. Have to say having watched Raith a few times in the past few months Rudden looks absolutely murder and surely a career in part time football or the lowland league beckons. Think he had a purple patch with us but has looked terrible since.
  15. I remember many moons ago when we got well beat second leg against Killie in the play off final, they were much bigger and physically stronger that us and these two games remind me of this.
  16. I’ll give you an honest answer, it was rank rotten. Apart from when the Pars were down, 5 years of looking at a handful of fans in the away stand is soul destroying. Our fanbase has on the whole stuck by the club and thankfully our boardroom issues are behind us. As I said in an earlier post this move to Kelty is mental and from an outsider looking in I think you are going to have to force change before things improve and it may take you as long as it took us. The mistake we made for 4 years was thinking we were Billy Big Baws and having a large squad of full time players we mistakenly thought would be better than the part time players we were facing weekly, there are some cracking PT players in the league and they should not be underestimated. Good luck in getting up, trust me it won’t be easy.
  17. We’ll agree to disagree on this, I’ve tried all they foreign fancy beers and you cannot beat a cold pint of T
  18. I asked my daughter for a Stein for Father’s Day but dunno if she’s managed to get one, hopes so my Tennents is goni taste oh so good out of that
  19. I’ve only been to Inverness for football but I’ve been up early and went into the City for food and always thought it a lovely place with plenty to offer, no offence meant to Kelty as I live in the shithole that is Grangemouth but I know which one I’d prefer to go to for training.
  20. I feel for you all but after 5 years of it being us thank f**k someone else is stepping up
  21. Friendly with the Warriors at Ochilview on 6th July
