  1. Got to feel for a lot of they seats at TFS today, they aren’t used to being empty when there is a team in Navy Blue on the pitch.
  2. I thought for the amount of game time he’s had Bisland wasn’t that bad. It’s difficult to judge any player when they have hardly played at all.
  3. A legend to me might not be a legend to others. I see Scott McKenzie as a Falkirk legend, due to the service he gave the club and him always putting in a 7/8 out of 10 performance, he is probably one of my favourite players of all time but never really gets a mention when fans talk about the past. I see Scott in the same way I see Leon this season in terms of how reliable they are. If anyone, especially younger fans see Callumn as a legend then that’s up to them and I certainly won’t argue against it.
  4. Was speaking to my Hibs supporting friend tonight and he thinks they would be easy to deal with for Tait. He doesn’t see him getting game time there and doesn’t think any fee would be required to get him, fingers crossed we can do something, thought he was excellent today.
  5. Bet the greasy weasel took off five subs and didn’t bother replacing them, the horrible wee c**t, f**k you Hartley were Goni win the league.
  6. I love them to bits, first seen them in 1982 and wouldn’t like to even try and guess how many times I’ve seen them since. Fair doos I suppose, I was sober on Wednesday night and might have appreciated the break if I’d been on the drink. I just didn’t think they were at their best on Wed but it doesn’t stop me looking forward to the Bandstand gig in August. Very jealous, you are lucky getting VIP tickets.
  7. Just listened to it and thought it was excellent. I’ve heard a few stories from folk that have met Pressley about how nice a person he is and the story regarding Tam’s wages underlines that.
  8. I might be just getting really old but I’d fully support venues shutting bars while the band are on. We went to the Usher Hall a few years ago for James and they did it and I thought it worked well. We were to the side last night for the Bunnymen and spent most of the night moving to let folk past for bar access. As I say though I’m no spring chicken and that idea will not please all.
  9. Just in from the Bunnymen at the Barras, not the best I’ve seen them, too many pished folk and the 20 mins break mid set was a load of bollocks, maybe I’m just getting old.
  10. I’m the same, away top, retro top, polo shirt and full home toddler kit for my Grandaughter. All really good quality and they even sent me replacement shorts for the wee ones kit as they had an Ayr Utd badge on the tag inside, I hadn’t even noticed. Agree with all the comments, in terms of quality O’Neill are up there with the best.
  11. Had the original, just ordered the retro, a thing of true loveliness
  12. Frankly the Smiths in Falkirk tonight and the Bunnymen at the Barrowlands on Wednesday, should be a good week.
  13. If we are unbeaten I would start our strongest 11, an invincible season is history making and never likely to be repeated. I’d try and get the game won and then as you say bring players on that need an appearance for a medal, the full squad has contributed and it wouldn’t be nice if any of them missed out.
  14. Start Sam as it’s his month and once/if the game is in the bag then bring Nicky on. That’s how I would sort it out, but I wouldn’t want to make that call.
  15. Here’s a thought. From the horses mouth Sam Long has the goalie jersey for March, Nicky is getting it for April, does it go back to Sam for the last game of the season against Alloa or does he give them a half each. That for me would be ridiculous if we are still unbeaten and Alloa have something to play for, but it’s unfair to either keeper for them to miss out on the day we hopefully get the trophy, given the TFS is likely to be buzzing. Tough one for John to sort out.
  16. I think if Long hadn’t got injured early doors he would have remained our No.1 and done a good job. After a shaky start he was just beginning to look really decent when he got injured.
  17. I get the logic in this and whilst I have no issue with it there is an alternative to allow fans to give more money to the club. Either join the FSS or if you already are a member increase your subscription by a little bit each month but only if you can afford it. For those that are not keen on the FSS, although I don’t understand why you would be there is the new lottery and the monthly 1876 draw, all ways of putting money into the club.
  18. Awe that’s excellent cheers, I can rest easy in the security that I will have enough time post game to get in an awfy mess
  19. Hope our last game v Alloa at TFS isn’t changed to 5.30pm for Alba but I could see it happening. A late kick off is going to severely disrupt my celebration/drinking time.
  20. I’m just listening to their album and it’s really good.
  21. They were absolutely fantastic and put on a great gig. Have to also give a mention to the support band Walt Disco who I had never heard of, thought they were really good and reminded me a bit of Sparks with a hint of Placebo thrown in there, glad I got in early to see them.
  22. I totally agree that it’s perfectly fine to do a bit of criticising and game analysis on here, that’s what this forum is for. I just didn’t agree with the booing in the stadium on Saturday, I know it was only a few but there was no need for it.
  23. Can’t blame John, being a gentleman of advancing years myself sometimes a wee cheeky one just sneaks out.
