I've never felt this much apathy towards Aberdeen.
Warnock has been a terrible appointment so far.
We are serious contenders for relegation.
So much wrong with the club.

At least we didn't lose Miovski or Duk.
Terrible window otherwise.

No real surprise we've failed to strengthen this January. We are a club without a manager. Whose HoR is leaving us tomorrow after only a 6 month stint.
Gunn is completely out of his depths and should never have been hired for his current role.
We are contemplating (I've been told we've actually approached him) Neil Warnock for the remainder of the season.
When McInnes left the club, we had credibility and a reputation in which to entice an experienced replacement. At the time we were the most attractive proposition outside the ugly sisters. Instead Cormack went with the appointments of Glass, Goodwin and Robson. Aberdeen are too big a club to be hiring rookie managers. I simply don't trust Cormack, Gunn or Burrows to get it right with the next manager. The incompetence on the football side of things is truly staggering.
The FMB is an embarrassment. Why is Willie Garner a part of that board?!
Miovski, Duk and Barron will all very likely be away in the summer.
As things stand, it's looking very grim right now. We badly need a manager to galvanize the club much like Steve Clarke did at Killie and McInnes when he first arrived at Aberdeen.

Neil Warnock, although a better manager than Robson, is a no for me.
Not sure about Neil Lennon.
Alex Neil was the man I wanted to replace McInnes. I think he'd thrive at Aberdeen just like McInnes did.

Looks like Duk is off to Leganes who are top of La Liga 2.
A sad day. Will really miss Duk.

I wonder if there is any truth to Duk leaving for Spain.
Did Duk hand in a transfer request which prompted the FMB to act by sacking Robson?

Fantastic news.

Robson has to go. It's only going to get worse.

Miovski.
Not really deserved. Let's be honest.
We've been shocking in the opening 30 mins.
Really fed up with Robson's formation. 5 at the back against Dundee is a sackable offence alone.
Midfield non-existent once more.

We are proper mince.

Under-pressure Aberdeen boss Barry Robson says he can handle boo boys
Aberdeen are also understood to be tracking Wigan Athletic defender Jason Kerr with a view to a potential January transfer window swoop.

The Daily record is reporting we've turned down a 2.5 million bid for Duk. The club recognize his value.
Just for some perspective, Duk has contributed to 12 goals/assists this season. Second only to Miovski (whose on 19 goals/assists). Like Clarkson, Duk has suffered this season from Robson's style of play however he's still very much contributing.

I'll be sad when both Miovski and Duk are sold.
I personally think Duk is worth more than 3 million.

Great result.
We are a much better side when we play 4 at the back. Robson has hopefully learned his lesson.
Continue to play Barron and Polvara from the start when possible.

I just can't help but think that Alex Neil ticks so many boxes at the moment for us.
I'd be happy with Alex Neil or Mowbray unfortunately I don't think we could afford either of them nor they'd be interested in joining us.
Probably not but I wonder if either of Per-Mathias Høgmo (Hacken manager) or Toni Korkeakunnas (Helsinki manager) would be interested?

Not sure there's many positives to take from this result.
Potentially Robson getting the sack?

He maybe has his Hearts set on going somewhere else but if Robson was allowed to play Barron you would get better results.
I don't think he'll be heading to the capital however I do agree that irrespective of whether he's leaving or not we are not in a position to be excluding good players when they are available to play.

The worrying thing for me is we've got Shinnie for another two and a half years on a presumably good wage.
Folk around me cheered him going off. We can say he's expected to do too much but his legs aren't making up for his lack of technical ability. There was a shift when he went off. Dante is doing things with one touch. Shinnie was taking two to get it under control today.
Spot on. I hold the same sentiments. I love Shinnie for everything he's done for the club however "we've got Shinnie for another two and a half years on a presumably good wage" is definitely a concern I have. Maybe we are asking too much of shinnie and/or maybe his recent downturn in performances is due to Ramadani's departure in the summer.
I'd personally drop Shinnie to the bench and start either Polvara or Barron ahead of him. I also don't care if Barron isn't signing on as he's a good player so lets play him whilst he's here.
We had 6 weeks to replace Ramadani in the summer. Scandalous that we didn't. I think his departure has shown how key he was to our limited success last season. He clearly had a positive influence on Shinnie and Clarkson. We desperately need to replace him this January.
What's frustrating is that we actually have a good squad of players more than capable of finishing in the top 3. Robson needs to go.

So, who do we want to replace Barry Robson?

Well done to St Mirren. A much deserved victory against a piss poor Aberdeen side.
Looks like bottom six again this season. That's what you get when you hire rookie managers.
