  1. McAlister is too light weight and Morias panics too much. I'd like to see what Thor can do. McAllister unfortunately is not the player we thought he was due to injury problems. Championship level at best even that I have my doubts .
  2. Livie are good no getting away with that. Us top 6 ? Nothing to suggest we will be close to a top six slot hope I'm wrong. Unless you can get a proper striker In to support Obika. Budget suggest we wont , we live a d hope.
  3. Take the three points a wee bit frustrating at times. Said to myself McAllister should be subbed well before it happened. Back four look solid. Morias should have buried his chance. Brilliant goal from Tait with the back four looking solid. It's the first game Saints will get better with more games. Livingston impressed me they will have another decent season. Oot the back for a BBQ now and a few beers. Everyone enjoy your night.
  4. I did write there is not a lot we can do given who is available. McAllister and Drumus are attackers that leaves two young boys to break up play. Anyway yet to see us play Goodwin sounds like he wants the charge of the light brigade lol. Woops 3 to break up play.
  5. Aberdeen v Rangers first for the warm up then the main event. If weather is good will have a bbq later seem some of the boys around for the footie.
  6. Cant agree midfield looks solid though there is not a lot can be done at this time given who is available. Livie are physical in the middle hope we can deal with it. Our back line is impressive.
  7. I like your team but midfield looks far too light with two wingers . Dont think your to far out given injuries and size of squad.
  8. I tuned into it in Egypt and Spain with no problems I dont think it ever went over a hundred. Fingers crossed nervously.
  9. Type into google - St Mirren TV. Click then read the instructions .
  10. Reading the first preview of this match by SportMole online who see Livingston coming out 2-1 winners. Most pundits have Saints in another relegation battle this season. I suppose given our history when in the top flight over the past ten years it should not come as a surprise. Within the St Mirren camp Jim Goodwin mindset is we can get into the top six, Tony Fitzpatrick saying we will be top six this season, most of our level headed fans will tell you that's a bit optimistic fingers crossed though. Livingston fell 6 points short of a Europa place which is a shining light for smaller clubs in the Premiership.
  11. I'm sure you will get a day pass that wont be the problem. The problem could be when 4,000 plus try to log in for the game with it being wifi . Hope I'm wrong and its smooth sailing fingers crossed.
  12. This is the strongest team I have seen from Saints in years at least on paper. Livie are no mugs never easy to take points from. Empty stadium will be strange for the players. Hoping for a Saints win but the first league game is a hard call.
  13. The safety measures implemented is another burden cost, not just stickers and perspex units. Fumeagation has to be done also on a regular basis. Then you have fewer guests that can stay. I think if bookings are not forthcoming prices will drop so worth to keep checking. Many businesses only make their money in the summer which has to see them through the winter. Sadly I can see huge numbers going bust come the end of the year when loans cant be paid.
  14. You can still get NME online.
  15. Agree can see Jim going with one up front backed up by an attacking midfield. With Livie you need a tight midfield.
  16. I'm on the Isle of Bute you get what you pay for here Jokes aside would need to spend time looking. Me and the wife like hotels or nice self catering. Me and a few mates went to sky the boys booked a Youth hostel which is the furthest thing I would choose. I was completely shocked it was nicer than many a guest house. Loundge had tartan carpets, big leathe.r sofas Kitchen was huge and spotless clean ( I'm a chef ) local staff were top notch. They have double rooms. Very cheap and just off the square in the centre of town. I'm defently taking the wife for a weekend.
  17. Some prices are bonkers I agree with you there. Others are not too bad it depends where you go. Personally I wont go abroad this year not just because of the virus travel companies and airlines are on the brink of collapse would not want to get stuck abroad. I'm in the hospitality business owning a Bistro we are all struggling not just me. Have never known so many caterers looking for work.
  18. Hospitality is on its knees surly a one off main holiday at home is a good idea.
  19. Last one out this month as sadly another music mag goes to the wall. Have not bought Q on a regular basis for years but have bought many an album from their reviews .
  20. I'm sure the club said details of the live broadcast would be sent out one week before kick off. At least there is Saturday night Sportscene should the broadcast suffer its teething problems.
  21. Being a Saints fan I'm all over the press never read this. But hey hoo covid19 does strange things.
  22. Goodwin is a smart cookie a left back will forthcoming take a chill pill Ric.
  23. From this game I watched he was no stand out but hey ! It's one game granted a semi final. If I was Goodwin would keep an eye on Roberts ex Newcastle youth player knows where goals is I'm impressed.
