  3. Brentford 1-4 Liverpool (0-1 HT) @ Gtech Community Stadium . Premier League. 12.30pm. The visitors day is spoiled picking up 3 injuries but they run out big winners to stay top of the table. Nunez, Mac Allister, Salah & Gakpo all on target. Toney for the ’s. Crowd 17,193.
  4. Saw Liverpool play there in pre-season 4/5 years ago. Brilliant stadium.
  5. Leith Athletic 3-1 Blackburn United @ Meadowbank Stadium . EOSFL 1st Division. 8pm. The home side ahead early on but United quickly levelled. The game became niggly with Leith reduced to 10 but they responded brilliantly to go on and deservedly win it. Crowd 101.
  6. Tollcross Thistle 7-0 Kirkliston & South Queensferry (2-0 HT) @ Meadowbank Stadium . Logan Cup R3. 8pm. The home side deserved progressed to R4 but did have to wait until the last 20 minutes to put the game to bed finally adding a 3rd and then 4 more . Crowd 16.

  8. Armadale Thistle 4-0 Vale of Leithen (2-0 HT) @ Volunteer Park . 8pm. A bounce game tonight between 2 sides who will most likely swap divisions at the end of the season. The home side with 2 ️️ goals in each half as they ran out comfortable winners in the end. Crowd 94.
  9. Hibernian 1-2 Celtic (0-1 HT) @ Easter Road Stadium . 8pm. cinch Premiership. The visitors ahead early on from the penalty spot but Hibs came to life in the 2nd half and scored a great equaliser . Celtic won it in stoppage time from a 2nd Adam Idah spot kick. Crowd 18,303.
  10. Bonnyrigg Rose 2-0 Elgin City (1-0 HT) @ New Dundas Park . 7.45pm. Midweek cinch SPFL League 2 action and a Conor Doan ️️ goal in each half secured 3 big points for the home side. Bonnyrigg move clear in 5th place on 28 points. Elgin stay 8th. Crowd 477.

  13. Arsenal 3-1 Liverpool (1-1 HT) @ Emirates Stadium . 4.30pm. Premier League. A deserved win for the home side. After Gabriel levelled with an OG (45) the game was in the balance until a rare van Dijk / Alisson mix up gifted them a 2nd and a late 3rd sealed it. Crowd 60,374.

  15. Vale of Leithen 2-4 Blackburn United (1-1 HT) @ Victoria Park . 2.30pm. EOSFL 1st Division. 1-1 heading into the last 15 minutes it was the visitors who struck twice ️️ to lead 3-1 before a late Vale fightback was ended with the last kick from the penalty spot. Crowd 43.

  17. He did get a lot of praise early on as he settled really well but he did have a bit of a drop off starting around the Luton game at the beginning of November. Probably understandable new country and league etc. And then picked up an injury. Good to see him back will be a big player in the run in. Brilliant last night .
  18. Despite only being 20 he already has 13 caps for Northern Ireland. With Robertson back could be behind Gomez for a run out again at right back. McConnell and Quansah both starting today in CM and CD no shortage of talent coming through and getting a chance. Will be interesting to see how Jurgen Klopp's replacement handles them.
  19. Whitburn 6-3 Vale of Leithen (3-2 HT) @ Central Park . EOSFL 1st Division. 2pm. The home side 2-0 up and looked to be cruising until Vale fought back to 2-2 and then 4-3 but Whitburn secured the 3 points with 70th ️ and 90th ️ minute strikes. Crowd 165.
  20. I think the big factor with JK though is that he dragged the club out of the wilderness and back to the top. That wasn’t really on the remit of Paisley / Dalglish.

  22. Fulham 1-1 Liverpool (0-1 HT) 2-3 on Aggregate @ Craven Cottage . League Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg. 8pm. The visitors ahead at the break but Fulham levelled 15 mins from time. Liverpool held on though to reach the final against Chelsea again at Wembley next month. Crowd 24,320.
