  1. Alfredo Morelos is now the joint 3rd highest goal scorer in Europa League/UEFA Cup history (including qualifiers). That's some going and still only 25 years old.
  2. With 14 goals scored and 2 conceded in 4 games since the absolute shambles at Celtic Park, I think it is fair to say we've got the response we wanted from the team. Albeit one of those matches was vs Annan, but it bodes well nonetheless. Ryan Jack coming back from injury at the right time to give us a much needed lift - I really hope he can stay fit as he brings so much to that team. Morelos is playing with a lot of confidence and is back to his best, bullying defenders and scoring a lot of goals. Kent delivering again in a big match last night and he has been good in all 3 of his appearances since the Celtic match - we just need to see that more consistently. Of course, all of that would count for little if we are to go and throw points away at Dundee Utd on Sunday. Big test for us, but the signs are positive.
  3. It wasn’t even anything bad or pro-Rangers. This is what he said below.
  4. I just appreciated the wording of the headline rather than the result itself. Quite creative.
  5. Not having seen the match, I couldn’t help but laugh at Flashscore’s notification of the result… ”Super Bodo go loco as Celtic slip to new low”
  6. What’s this? Assuming he mentioned our game and got pelters from Aberdeen fans?
  7. My thoughts too. 4-2 and you’re making us slight favourites to go through but it could’ve been over. We will need to weather a storm next week.
  8. What the f**k did I just watch Absolutely phenomenal result. We looked dangerous every time we broke forward. Jack was brilliant with Arfield, Morelos and Kent just behind him. As already said, it’s certainly not tie over, but I am enjoying this so much right now.
  9. Very good first half performance. Add in Barisic’s chance we could realistically have scored 3. Dortmund will be disappointed not to have scored a couple too with the header and chance taken off the boys toes. Expect Dortmund to come out flying so it’s going to be a huge task to hold on. Jack and Arfield have been excellent.
  10. It is, which highlighted how troubled we can get down the left side of our defence.
  11. As suspected, Jack in from the start and Bassey shifted to CB with Barisic in at left back. Worrying lack of forward options on the bench with no Sakala or Roofe. I can only assume this is to do with the requirement to have so many homegrown players in the squad as I wasn’t aware of any injuries they picked up.
  12. You may have missed it as I edited the post, but which way did you vote, and what were your reasons for this?
  13. With Balogun confirmed as being out, I fear we will be using Barisic at left back and moving Bassey over to CB. Not completely terrible but Barisic's run of form is cause for concern against an obviously talented side. Jack being available is a bonus and if he is fit enough I'd imagine he will start.
  14. They are nebulous in your opinion. You seem to have a feeling that you would like to disagree with points put forward without actually putting forward an opinion of your own. Which way did you vote, and what were your reasons for this?
  15. So you see flaws in every single reason that's been put forward in favour of not prohibiting managers moving but you don't think there is a benefit of doing so? Also, how would Glass/McPake have any bearing on this scenario? They were sacked, they've not moved to a different team.
  16. Well, I (and many others) answered no and gave reasons for doing so and you seemed to disagree. So, you obviously feel there is some benefit from prohibiting it?
  17. But in terms of prohibiting managers from moving clubs outside of transfer windows, I still haven't seen any compelling reason other than "that's what happens with players so..."? What is the actual benefit of limiting managers from moving?
  18. Again, you are so selective of your quotes and fail to acknowledge you misrepresented what I said. I still haven't seen any valid argument that would make me believe clubs shouldn't be able to appoint their preferred managerial candidate. And I will repeat what I said before: restricting managerial appointments to out of contract managers or appointing youth/reserve/assistant managers will only lead to short term managerial appointments until a club appoints their preferred candidate. The turnover of managers would be much higher.
  19. The intent of my comment? If you weren't selective and had actually quoted the full comment I made, you'd realise that the very next sentence I said: Surely you understand the meaning of "not common". That is nowhere near saying it never happens as you claim. It is, in fact, acknowledging it does happen but it is not very common. My reasons for it not being common is because the majority of the time, clubs opt for a preferred candidate with more experience.
  20. If it's nonsense, I'm sure you'll be able to easily answer my question then and tell me where I said appointing youth/reserve managers "never happens".
  21. Indeed. Also enjoyable when he makes something up that you said and ignores your questions calling him out on it.
  22. Please can you point out where I said it "never" happened? Paging @Ricfor an answer to this. Are you there, @Ric?
  23. That surely helps my point! How well did that turn out? You also overlook the fact that Murty was only appointed after our preferred candidate knocked us back.
