I have a question for folk who live in Arbroath - what’s happened to The Foundry Bar? As fans who live out of town, it’s been our pre-match meeting point/pub for a while now but it’s been closed pre-match the last couple of games.
Has it closed down? Staff shortages? It was always pretty busy before and after a game so really surprised.
Yeah it’s shut down again, I heard that the person who had it has now got the pageant , don’t know how much of that is true2 -
Thought Tait and Allan were a pair of passengers and their body language / moaning is not needed. They can GTF for me with that attitude, we’re in a battle and need the sleeves rolled up, take Jacobs when he came on, he won a lot of second balls and got us playing by sometimes just simply helping it on onto good areas.
We must’ve been watching a totally different game from each other, I thought he was stinking-2 -
Well that's 6 years Pink has been doing these Q&A's, and I think I've attended every one. I'm glad to say that tonight we entered a new era at Arbroath FC - not once was Kane Hester's name mentioned. Here's to the future.
New era with new age fans!1 -

Will away fans be allowed to sing and shout on Saturday?

I had a look at the club FB page and the comments on the statement are almost exclusively from happy clappers in support of the statement and the clubs position “no place for this in football”, “family club”, “punching above our weight” type pish.
We deserve more than this.
Never seen half of them at gayfield in my puff , all new fans who know nothing but success unlike the fans that AK Barr has mentioned, been there and the best and worst times and will be there for many years to come when every else has pissed off4 -
That statement is an absolute shambles. If folk don’t like hearing peoples opinions on awful tactics and substitutes then I’m afraid football really isn’t for you.
Boys have traveled up and down the country for years spending thousands in the process to watch the team play and aren’t allowed to express their feelings when things aren’t going great. Would rather listen to the folk that have spent their months wages in the club shop dressed head to toe in the merchandise when they get offended with some swear words.
Joke , 2 words , WONT BE BACK!1 -
Nice to see Inverness letting off a maroon smoke bomb

This thread will be tremendous after the game. Arbroath and Kilmarnock tears all over the gaff. Let’s put these bottlejobs to the sword!

Remember your scrum cap!love getting down and dirty in the millgate whilst watching Jonny Wilkinson’s best bits
Why have you just dipped your balls in another man’s pint?1 -
Are we still on for a pint of mcewans pre match?
Absolutely, see you at 11am at the millgate4 -
I think that ten minute period on Tuesday where we had about five good chances missed is a bit of a omen. Having to go to Arbroath and scoring will be very tough and I wonder the pressure will be too much for us.
I was at Gayfield on the opening day and we somehow won despite Arbroath absolutely battering us for twenty minutes at the end (Remember saying after the game that Arbroath would definitely stay up! [emoji1787]).
The pressure is on us big time tonight and I’m not sure we can handle that.
Yeah I’d agree with the pressure thing, we’re just enjoying where we are so if we win we win and if we loose then we go again next season0 -
Very exotic bran flakes for me this morning and making my way down. I think we’re going to get beat.
It’s a tough one too call, I’m really not sure to be fair0 -
More than enough to verbally outnumber your timid band of children, family men and pensioners
That failed miserably on Tuesday so will be interesting tonight to see how yous will manage that1 -
How many oatmeal savages are making the trip down today?

Finding Arbroath fans underestimating the jump in quality and difference in players needed if they somehow find themselves promoted really funny. You’d be needing 8 new players easily. Gaston would probably do but he’d be under a lot more pressure than he is this season.
Calling Ricky Little average isn’t an insult. He’s fine at this level but he can absolutely be exposed to anything that isn’t a long ball launched in his general direction. Does the no nonsense type stuff really well though.
I didn’t say anything about him moving up, or what we’d need. I’m well aware that there is a jump in quality. Just Ricky little is not an “average” defender0 -
Finding the Ricky little being “average” really funny

Why didn't they just use a local address?!
They’re from Ayrshire mind, uncouth and uneducated1 -
It’s a bad state of affairs when Killie fans are having to travel to Arbroath to buy tickets for their own stadium. Only in Scotland.
And get turned away when they get there for having a Ayrshire address HAHAHAHAHAH0 -
-
Probably been asked and answered one hundred times this season but are Arbroath planning to remain part-time if they get promoted?
Probably, or could go hybrid, will just have to wait and find out!0 -
Arbroath's racist stewards utterly humiliated at Forfar Sheriff Court today.
Found to be as credible as Boris Johnson and case dismissed without the defence having to proffer any evidence.
I hope your club sacks the knuckledragging jobbers in question.
Nobody cares-2 -
Donnelly done everything he had to do when he came on, stan doesn’t have a Barr’s irn bru about the game of football

Tutties just across the road do a really good range of meals , never had a bad meal from there.
The townhouse and coast are the other 2 restaurants that would not be a bad shout.
There is an Italian restaurant called Azzurro at the bottom of the high street , it opens at 5pm on Fridays. You can take your own drink in there too, the foods supposed to be brilliant . I can’t comment as never been
